Not saying I don't believe you... but just curious. How do you know it's the new Corsten track? I effin' love Corsten!!!!!!!!!!!

Posted by Thierry on Nov-10-2001 02:13:

Wow, haven't been on this topic for awhile...

Yup Euphoria, you were right. It was a promo all along. To SpeedFrog, are you sure it's Corsten's new song? I think he would have mentioned it on his radio shows the past few weeks instead of calling it a promo always. Not saying I don't believe you or anything. But this song just doesn't sound like a normal Corsten song. Only thing that is related between this song and Corsten is that they both KICK ASS!! And that's awesome that you got to meet him, Mr. Stamper. I would love that chance!!

And to Ceecee, don't worry. We'll see Corsten eventually. If not here, then at GK Global Gathering 2002!!! HAHAHA!! Loves you!!

I'm positive it's his new track

Apparently it's a new direction he's decided to take in his production, from what I've been told.

I'm not sure if I can obtain an unmixed copy of the track ripped straight from vinyl or not... naturally I'll try my best to get one, and if I do, I'll get it posted here.

punk! (promo)

...has this topic been completelty forgotten? There must be someone out there who has made a rip out of this tune. I mean it's been ages since this track was first aired.

I do agree with you guys it sounds like FC production , may be it is
System F - Punk ?

What is this Ministry of Sound set you guys are talking about. Is it the one from Sydney. If so I was there and he definately played this song. It also makes sense with the Mark Dynamix theory as he was playing there aswell.

i stumbled upon this site today that will create a genuine master vinyl or even a cheap acetate copy of any digital format(mp3 or wav). Go to www.mp3vinyl.com and you can dish out 55 pounds for a acetate 12" or 110 pounds for a lacquer master. For those people who really need this track and dont care how much it will cost them, this seems like the way to go. All you need to do is rip the punk track off the dance department set, clean it up with a sound program like cool edit, then upload to their server. Good idea? tell me what you think

I downloaded punk from audiogalaxy yesterday and it sounds like a setrip. the soundquality is pretty good though.

Interesting forum page. Ive never seen it.
Sounds like a lot of people commenting on things they don't really know. Not that I do either but I wouldn't believe it just from that.

DRIVER: Where did you find the info about punk?

Posted by whiskers on Jan-16-2002 19:17:

aight, most of you probably already know that track # 7 is by Ransom aka Funk Einsatz and it's called Punk. this one has been played in a recent liveset by talla 2xlc @ kinki palace. no more mysteries.

Posted by trance007 on Jan-17-2002 12:55:

KarateKid A bit of clarification

Original track : "My Dance" by "Ransom", released in 1993 under the label "Loaded Records", catalogue number "Load 7".

Ferry Corsten recently made a remix of this track, but due to copyright restriction he hav'nt released it under his own name.

This Ferry Corsten remix was released as a single side white label named "Funk Einsatz - My Dance" under the label "Tsunami Special White Label"
See http://www.cdmail.de/xyst/cgi-bin/a...m&artnr=2332983 for confirmation

This remix is sometimes called "Ransom - My Dance [Ferry Corsten Remix]" on Audio Galaxy.

Conclusion:
- Funk Einsatz is a pseudo to Ferry Corsten.
- Ransom is the original artist of a track Ferry Corsten made a remix for.

Now, for track 7, it is rumoured that Corsten will use the same pseudo for the final release, so the track should be named "Funk Einsatz - Punk"

I hope this help.
