Fkn Gold Medal Performance
After being in that stadium with Tiesto ripping it up I wonder if any athletes will get caught for drug use, not the steriod kind
First (and probably last) time I've ever sat through the parade of nations. Good job Greece, that was sensational
Fucking deadshit commentators
OH yeah... that music was really controversial wasn't it u fucknut?
I'm sick of them calling every nation that walks past poor and unfortunate. I'm sick of them saying the Americans have an attitude... No SHIT SHERLOKC, THEY FUCKING KICK THE SHIT OUT OF EVERYONE. THAT'S WHY. JUST ADMIT WE SUCK COMPARED TO THEM AT SPORT!
They kept trying to make SYdney look better "Oh, in Sydney we had .70 square metres of room per Athlete.... But Athens could only manage .65 square metres"
Fucking hell, try harder guys.
what an angry little person we have here.

1.) i think most of us will admit that Athens had much better opening ceremony.
2.) not inferiority - we just hate americans
3.) who really takes what commentators say on board?
watching the volleyball this arvo (commentator): "I better brush up on my Cuban."

I have to say i think that the fireworks in syd was better but as for the actual stadium entertainment (from my rather fried memory of the syd games) was better in athens.
Either way they were both fucking good!! Though i honestly think China will be better in 4 years time (theyve got a fuck more money they can throw at it!!)
And on a side note: I'd like to brush up on some of those cuban volleyballers!!!
big ups to whoever designed thier uniforms a tad shorter than the cuban bottoms
And who said aussie men dont watch womens sports???

best opening i've seen ever. Very creative, organised and fireworks were awesome....and oh yeah Tiesto ripped assholes!
More money doesn't necessarily mean that China will put it in the right places...and besides, their swimmers now have the hometown advantage
Luvin it like a Pana does and always will!

OMG what an opening ceremony. I actually, for the first time, watched it completely from start to finish. The whole thing was awesome.
Tiesto obviously helped it a lot. His "pumping dance music" really helped the vibe for me. It wasnt really surprising that he played only his production stuff, and not much from other artists. I mean, after all, millions/billions would be watching around the world...listening to the sound of TIESTO
Great opening ceremony, now gonna enjoy the rest of the olympics
All we need now is to have Tiesto as a guest on Roy & HG's The Dream.

I wonder if anyone has got a good rip of this. It would be good to listen to without the commentators blaring on.
Though I would like a mix of artists in the tracklist.
