Based off of CD1, this is pretty good. Not great, but good. Definately not better than the first Everybody. I dunno why the heck he put Philth and Kinda New on there; I just end up skipping both of the tracks, which in turn ruins the flow of the CD. Also, some of the mixes are shoddy, like the way Kinda New is mixed in.

this double cd kills the last one in my opinion. especially the second cd with his own track 'the fruit' and skai - mir gehts gut. just can't get enough of those crazy funk ass tracks

Posted by placebo on Oct-27-2004 14:55:

Yeah I bought this, this weekend. Man I'm digging it. My favourite track is track 4 on the first CD. Has that Michael Jackson "Thriller" vibe too it.

But hey, slow down there folks, doesn't beat Everybody. But it comes fucking close.

:-D

listened to the first cd... great stuff, real funkity and fresh. good to get away from trancey synths, listnein to cd2 now

its like any other shopping experience for me - i just wonder up and down the aisles grabbing cd's that i like and then *poof* i end up at the cash register and realize that i have way too many cd's in my hand...

but i probably only go into a cd store every couple of months - so really - i only spend around $30/month or so on music

/me rationalizes all purchases

kinda new - one of my fav tech-house tracks from last year

all i can say is that cd is one of the best demonstrations of house, tech-house, funk etc. nice mix of all kinds of genres - just what i like to see in a dj - diversity

yeah thats the best on Sander - always all over the place but always dancefloor!

about the shoddy mixing, dunno either. personally ive never heard any bad mixes from the man. this could either be from my not paying attention - or if they do exist the fact hes not always mixing similar tracks, i dunno.

personally sander just rocks, tho i doubt he is faultless. when i saw his 4 hour set he took awhile to progress to even this CD speed, which is good and bad|

Posted by 604trancejunkie on Oct-28-2004 02:02:

what kinda style is this cd? more house or trance?

Posted by Pointy on Oct-28-2004 05:06:

Basically all styles of house - couple trancey elements though.

Fucking loving this mix..haven't heard the first installment, but after buying this I'm definetly gonna be investing more money in Sander - this just sounds so damn fresh!!!

Especially loving tracks 3 n 4 from Disc 1..along with basically everything else!! hehehheheh

RESPECT SANDER!!

Don't feel too bad about that. I tend to do that too. Only problem is I do that every other week when I get paid.

My biggest problem is the fact that Indy sucks, and none of the stores around here really have anything other than all that Dance Party Vol._____ shit, so I just order stuff off of towerrecords.com and amazon.com all day. At least I get free shipping after I spend enough. Problem is the free shipping makes me justify getting even more.

most tell me cd2 is better, but i cant really decide.

Posted by richard raiban on Nov-13-2004 20:46:

i listened to the first disc and wasnt impressed @ all. it seems as though those timeless albums/mixes are hard to come by these days. mixes like sasha ibiza, or sasha san fran, northern exposure...

i also listened to the pappa cd (first disc) and that too was blah.

ive heard some great mixes by local djs that are better than the ones being released by the top jocks
