fuck i just read through six pages of this thread.. a complete waste of time..

and that tracklist that was posted the pinkpop one: full of tracks already released on Just Be (and Nyana maybe dont remember). and its way too long to fit on one cd.
the olympic tracklist is ofcource too long also (ofcource it was supposed to be 90 min but Tiesto had to improvice because it went on longer). and no you cant just take away those old rls and yay we have the tl..

if this was due to a release anytime we would have the tracklist so lets wait until then to discuss anything

Oh, so excuse me for speculating.

By the way, where in any of my posts did I say that taking away the previously-released tracks would give you the confirmed list? Merely speculation... Get over it.

Hey all you Tiesto lovers! This is a forum for REVIEWS not speculation!

Hey all you Tiesto bashers! Dont bother, they wont listen to you even if at least 50% of the songs are over 3 years old!

Hey everyone! This is Oakie all over again! Look where he is now!

HEY everyone! Seriously! Shut up, if you like it you like it, if not then piss off. But if you DONT *actually* have a review or sourced info about this then you can piss off too|

I hate speculation when it's a result of incredible fanatism.

Here's my two-cents...

A good portion of you hate Tisto. We know that. Yet when people try to have a legitimate discussion it always turns into a Goddamned flame-war. The same arguments come up in every topic that even remotely mentions him.

We know you think that every album and mix-CD he will release from now on is for the money.
We know you think he sold-out by producing Love Comes Again.
We know you think his mixing is shit.
We know you think his track selection sucks.
We know you think he stole Adagio without giving credit. (Yet you never bitch about William Orbit doing the same thing.)
We know you don't think he should be number one in a silly popularity contest.

We know all this. So (excuse me for being blunt) shut the fuck up already.

As far as this album goes, I'm really interested in it. Sounds like it'd be really nice.

EXCELLENT POST idoru !!!!!

Looking forward to this, because I remember he played some real bombs at the Olympics.

Smoking ..umm..something

Tisto - Parade Of The Athletes (Magik Muzik CD 04)

1. Heroes
2. Breda 8pm (DJ Montana Edit)
3. Ancient History
4. Traffic
5. Euphoria
6. Athena
7. Olympic Flame
8. Lethal Industry
9. Coming Home
10. Adagio For Strings
11. Victorious
12. Forever Today

As we did with Tistos latest artist album Just Be, Black Hole Recordings is pressing a 4 x 12 white and blue coloured vinyl album, containing the 8 new tracks on 1 side each:

Tisto - Parade Of The Athletes (Magik Muzik LP 04)

A. Heroes
B. Breda 8pm (DJ Montana Edit)
C. Ancient History
D. Euphoria

F. Olympic Flame
G. Coming Home
H. Victorious

To make it possible to share his music with as many people as possible and because there are a couple of earlier released tracks, the CD will be available for a nice price!

the post on page 5.. almost on the top:

"The Olympic tracks will probably be the IDs and unreleased tracks, i.e. Slice, Albinoni, Heroes, etc."

Listen, you little shit. I wanted confirmed news, not some online speculation. I thought I made this very clear within my post. Now shut your little hole and follow the example of tiestoinmix who actually did provide the correct info with actual facts and no abuse whatsoever.

i know finally a good post. The cd would be a lot better without traffic...

i have it on vinyl, just be and just be 4x12 FFS!

Posted by drpeer_holland on Sep-10-2004 17:29:

I think the Lethal Industry track is the 2004 mix!!

Posted by idoru on Sep-10-2004 18:19:

That tracklist looks real nice. I'll definitely be picking up both of them!

I would like to point out to you the word "probably." Not "will be", but "probably." They're two different meanings.

Oh, and now that we have the tracklist and a confirmed source, enough with the bickering.

Did he ever play that 2'nd ID track in other sets?

That track was un-freakin-real!!!

I can't believe a track like that isn't released and known by more people....shame all the good stuff never sees the light of day

Lets talk a little further now about that money making thingie...
The thingie those noobs started about while they knew nothing about a price or tracklist what so ever.
I guess we wont hear them anymore now and they will pick an other thread to start the tiesto bashing.
Or am i to negative?

Posted by MichaelBoogerd! on Sep-11-2004 20:02:

well Albinoni, Slice and Heroes were names we took after the first Olympcs thread.. try reading the 43 pages to see why those names came about in the first place. The fact we at TA are not all in Tiesto's management or under him at BlackHole - we wouldn't know the official titles until the press release... which shock... happened now.

so stop with the bickering already.

Coming Home? could that be the Innercity track? It rings a bell of a suggested title from around then... at the same time we were thinking there was something called Tiesto - Lonely.

Looking good anyways. These tunes are tiesto's sound of 2004. Everyone can now fully realise that although it was released in May JUST BE was made in summer/autumn 2003

Posted by torontotrance on Sep-11-2004 20:26:

If tiesto wants to make money from an event that he played for free, then more power to him. Yes I'm not a big fan of Tiesto anymore but the summer olympics happen every 4 years and in 2008, I doubt any western groups will be allowed to do the music. He is cashing in on probably the biggest stage for a deejay so far, he played the music while the athletes were walking into the stadiu, in front of approx 1.6B people, talk about adding a new audience.

Most of which couldn't even hear the music and never even saw him? Yeah, that's adding a new worldwide audience.

Posted by torontotrance on Sep-12-2004 02:06:

Which is why I'm saying he is not stupid to accept it, I don't see any deejay that would turn it down but still releasing a CD after it, is smart in my book and what I think of ol tijs does not matter.
