So why didn't u say that reasonable whine the first time... instead of giving is a crybaby stalkerstory????

the only record he is getting is one sliced thru the neck and wrists

Rest my case.

You rest your case that Tisto should've pulled a record, his own personal property, out of his own box and given it to you?

Posted by Stasha on Sep-12-2004 22:17:

damn stalkers

he deserves sth like that not a gift

Posted by torontotrance on Sep-12-2004 23:17:

nice try sidestepping that argument but you still have not proven your point.

Tiesto's manager is a KUNT!!!!

For Ibiza's children, i planned an interview with Tiesto when both of us were on the island. Many months before, me and his manager Arny were exchanging emails and things were going smoothly until the very week of the interview.

While on the island, i contacted him to meet tiesto only for 5 minutes..thats how long the interview was scheduled.

Arny last minute writes back telling me my "documentary isnt going to be that exposed" and Tiesto is really busy.

In other words...Tiesto doesnt have time for me becuase im not making a blockbuster film. It was very very unprofessional

Armin on the other hand directly emailed me himself and gave me a time and location out of his schedule for the interview...what a nice guy.

Posted by torontotrance on Sep-12-2004 23:35:

Why should deejays give the time of day to every film maker in the world. They get busy and crap happens, why hold it against them.

Why should a manager agree to an interview for many months ahead of schedule.. and last minute cancel for selfish reasons?

It wasnt Tiesto's decision.. it was Arny's

Posted by torontotrance on Sep-12-2004 23:40:

That's life dude, things get cancelled all the time.

I'll try to get them up later for everyone to see. I've got a bunch of picks from when Armin was in Chicago back in May. I'll go ahead and post a couple of those while I'm at it.

Of course they do... but under the circumstances that i experienced.. all i can say is that it was unprofessional.

He was just an asshole. Plain and simple.

One day i will get my revenge...and i will say it to his face.. i have something planned

because we cant get what we want, so the dj is an asshole, right?
haha, man all you guys complain like little bitches, whichever of you is complaining. at least Gabor3000gt, at least you have seen those three djs. who cares about your fuckin "collection" a lot of people on these boards havent had a chance to see them or arent old enough to see them where they live. cyrus king, no matter how much you plan, he is a progessional dj and things come up, so how it is unprofessional that he doesnt have time for a documentary that isnt going to be a blockbuster? sometimes big people don't have time for other people. he is labelled the "number 1 dj in the world", so he will be busy.

I just went to a heineken thirst party where Tijs played for a whole hour (WOW!, that's a lot...NOT!). Went up to him to take a pic and he was like sure, come on, let's take one. Then his frickin' manager comes out of nowhere, sorry, no pictures. He repeated this like 25 times before he ran off. First, I'm like take a pic. NO! Oooooooooooooook, can he give me an autograph? NO! Whhhhhhhhhha, can I just shake his hand? NO! I'm like, BITCH, you are about this close from being slapped. Then I go around the VIP section, and we catch Tiesto coming downstairs, with his manager trailing behind. I'm like, Tijs, come on, take a pic. He comes, we take the pic, fine. Then I tell him this:

"Hey, nice to meet you! Listen. Armin was here in march, he gave me burned with desire autographed. Ferry was here last fall, he gave me punk autographed. Tijs, you are the missing one, my collection is not complete. Could you spare me a vinyl?"

Response: Sure, just come tomorrow. (He didn't have his vinyl bag on him, and he is supposed to play tonight for at least 2 hours)

So a friend of mine is doing the interviews, he did one today and will do one more tomorrow. I'll write a letter to him bitching about his manager and to let me have a vinyl of his, see what he says.

On a side note, two blondies rolled up a joint in the VIP section and got Tijs smokin' some doobies He says, "Damn, I haven't smoked this much in Holland!" 15 minutes later he rides out with his friend, Nick, and the two blondies. My friend knows both chicks and said that one was telling him that she wants to suck off Tiesto soooo bad. Funny...those DJs get pretty much anything, eh? Wait, doesn't Tijs have a wife?!...oh, well

BTW, he did sing a card for me too, and a picture, not bad. Post you the pic early next week.

So you got a signed card, singed pic and you're still pissed at him?? Seriously dude, you come off like one of those people that stalk celebs professionally and I wouldn't be suprised if they find you in his house one day smelling his boxers. Bottom line is this, you got a ticket to see Tiesto play. Did it say anywhere on the ticket that the bearer of this ticket is entiteled to pics, autographs and signed vinyls from Tiesto's personal collection?? I don't think so. The ticket was for a Tiesto performance, nothing less, nothing more. The fact that you think you're entitled to so much more just because others have done so is assanine.

What I find funniest about your whole post is nowhere in the entire thing did you mention anything about the quality of his performance. That makes me think you probably spent all or the better part of it trying to get his autograph which is really pathetic. My advice to you is get a life and actually listen to the music when you go to events like this. That's the whole point of it, not to get a fucking autograph or a vinyl. Also, WTF do Tiesto's lifestyle choices have to do with him as a DJ?? Like Toronto said, if doesn't effect his performance then you shouldn't be concerned with it. I'm sure if you followed alot of the people you interact with on a daily basis around you'd find alot of them do the same shit if not worse.

Fans these days want more.

But Wraith is right.

Posted by rafale on Sep-13-2004 03:17:

Yeah I agree ones personal life is well.. PERSONAL, superstar or NOT. His job is to DJ. Shouldnt be expecting anything more than that, or get pissed at his manager for being an asshole. Just enjoy the show next time.

8 pages LOL !!

If the past serves as an indicator any thread that involves someone coming in contact with a superstar will grow to be at least 10 pages

Everything there is to be said has been said, people! So let's move on! Just post the pics and be done with this

cheerS!

I met Danny Rampling here and I would never believe a deejay would be so friendly and when I met Tiesto he was even more friendly. Ofcourse they meet new people all the time you can't expect them to behave like your best mate in a second. Tijs did take a picture with me and signed all 30 records i have of him!! Including a poster and the bag i was carrying and we discussed each tune and asked him questions etc etc...gave me his whitelabel copy of Love Comes Again too heh. His manager i met was just as cool..took me backstage on the day of concert and gave me his business card asking me to call him when i go over to Breda and promises to get me in a TIC...I'm happy with them but Rampling definitely was more genuine...

Posted by Electick on Sep-13-2004 05:35:

heres wad i think : surely there a lot of ppl out there wanting to have a signed vinyl or wadever, so if u have a chance to ask for 1, u can ask.. but if it turns out u cannot get 1.. pls dun keep asking n asking it makes u look rather stupid.. dun blame too much on them, blame ur luck.. regardless of any DJs..

Posted by Electick on Sep-13-2004 05:38:

btw tiesto did came singapore for a gig, interview was done.. loads of vinyls were signed.. every one's happy!

FFS, are you guys ignorant? It was a one-hour-gig, he put up about 6-7 records, that's it. Towards the end I started feeling the vibe then all the sudden he leaves...leaves? Shiiiiiiiiit, runs out of the dj booth. I guess he was more interested in the two blondes. Overall, I DID have a good time, no doubt.

And FFS, I WAN NOOOOOOOOOOOOT STALKING THE MOFO! The place is just too small, you can clearly see people from one end to the other.

You can't be happy 100% of the time.

If i flew around the world every day and i met hundreds of different people every night, there is not way i could maintain a good mood the whole time.

Of course, they get paid shitloads and they get the adoration of thousands, but they are still only human.

Of course people are going to argue that they getting so much that they should have nothing to complain about, but i think it is unreasonable to expect them to be jolly all the time.

I have to say, he probably wasn't running out of the booth. Most likely he just left. The fact is, you were pissed about not getting him to hand over a signed-copy of his personal property. You got other things signed, so live with it.

Are u retarded???

How can u blast us about ur report for a 1hour tiesto show.

I already told you and the board... that this was Found@Thirst the showcase piece for the winner of Hungarian Thirst competition... of which Tiesto is one of the judges. He was there to oversee this and to spin 1 hour MAXIMUM.

If u didnt know that without going in u really do need help.

Thats Tiesto alright...always cutting his gigs short so he can hang with the groupies in the front row

Just give it up man. You really aren't going to recover now from your laughable self-absorbed whine that was your opening post.

Just walk away and put this whole 9-page thread down to a learning experience.
