looks steep...but if you think about it, it's not that bad. I'm in a position where I'm not sure if I'm going (exams and friends being bitches about not committing) so it could be a few weeks before I buy them. They could cost 60 bucks by then.

Oh well..haven't seen Tiesto since June 2003 so I'll do everything I can to experience him live once more.

Posted by St_Andrew on Nov-02-2004 01:11:

50 bucks is not bad at all!

would be like 100 in europe!

is tickets for montreal on sale yet?

Posted by starsearcher on Nov-02-2004 01:29:

Ordered, done and done!

Thanks for the heads up guys...and yes please post any MTL info if available

WOHOO!!! EXCELLENT!

Posted by d!abolic on Nov-02-2004 01:44:

Pretty high, but not bad considering that they were charging $60 at the door for Dumonde a few days back.

Posted by trancechaos on Nov-02-2004 02:02:

i cant buy tickets till i know my exam schedule. fuck i think the safest thing for me to do would be to stay away from this event....

Im can't order mine till tomorrow .....

i was wondering how big The docks is? Whats the capacity? Thanks

Posted by DVD2004 on Nov-02-2004 02:35:

It's a sweet deal.....think about how long he is actually spinning compared to what he charges. And I think it may be the longest set that he has ever did in Toronto (correct me if I'm wrong). Suck it up and go! It will be worth the money!

?? :-P

I've already bought my tix, but I would have much rather paid $30 then $50 (after shipping and all ticketmaster BS)

Posted by matty on Nov-02-2004 03:36:

thats a lot!!!!

Posted by walkindude on Nov-02-2004 05:02:

I dont think its that expensive... when he was here in June @ the guv , they charged $25 bucks, and 40 at least at the doors, it was a thursday, it was a 2.5 to 3 hours set..

I wonder who will play before him or after him?

i heard it was something like PVD, Nu-NRG, Carl Cox, Judge Jules, and Fergie ..

I'm hoping to hell they have both halves open. This is gonna be huge.

PS: The Docks is really large inside. Larger than Kool Haus, I believe.

This is probably one of your lies again, but if it's true I'm booking my ticket to TO the day this line-up is confirmed

Posted by StereoPrincess on Nov-02-2004 15:16:

hmm, i'm putting my foot down.

not getting this ticket.

NOT larger than Kool Haus...but maybe about the same size...I think
And I'm SURE they'll have both halves open

well, i think it is close.

they renovated in there and there is a lot of room. it might be wider with the two rooms open.

maybe there is square footage info online? let's see.

Posted by starsearcher on Nov-02-2004 16:40:

I think the KH is more of "sqare" shape and the docks is just kinda long...

Posted by StereoPrincess on Nov-02-2004 16:44:

well koolhaus is 27000 sq. ft. the docks don't really give the right type of info on their website (meaning i can't tell what the fuck they are trying to describe). licenced capacity of koolhaus is 2000 licenced capacity of inside docks is 2583 (but this doesn't differentiate between the rooms.

^^^Exactly my thoughts...But coming back to the ticket price...55$ is not much to see the no 1 dj in the world , considering most of us who made it to Dannyt@Boa and Armin on the Boat paid 65 and 75 respectively...Now whether the vibe and the music will be as good remains to be seen....Unless Guv is upto something for the next day which i doubt cuz its a Sunday or my crime partners bail out on me....I will be hardpressed to see Tij's in TO

Posted by cono_sur on Nov-02-2004 17:32:

Got my ticket yesterday.... most i've paid for a party (in T.O.). I hope it's worth it.

Maybe it'll be "in Concert"-style.
