Posted by soulopla on Oct-23-2004 00:35:

ohh my god what can i say about this set.

For me, best live set i have ever been to. They played absolute monster tracks and it felt like they had complete control over the drancefloor and could just make everyone go nuts at any time.

Highlight for me would have to be when they dropped universe, that track went off.

Posted by NiNo LoCo on Oct-23-2004 00:50:

Posted by soulopla on Oct-23-2004 02:55:

NU-NRG ROCKED!!!!!

Posted by Renegade on Oct-23-2004 08:20:

Yeah it was a top night. Was thinking I was going to be in for a long one when they played nothing but harder stuff for the first couple of hours on all three levels, but as soon as Nu-NRG came on I knew it was going to be worth it. I'm not sure exactly what it is about their sound, but it reminds me of exactly why I started listening to trance like 4-5 years ago. Trance the way it should be imho and they didn't let up for the entire two or so hours.

Suprised there weren't more TAs there, but was good to meet up with the usual crew (virginia, tachyon, anomyst etc.) and to meet a couple of you for the first time as well. See you all at Sasha.

Yeah I caught them at ZoS last night, they opened the set with their remix of G&M Project's Sunday Afternoon, & then played mostly their own original productions, closing with Dreamland. Shame they didn't play their Where The Streets Have No Name remix, that would have been mad....still thought their 90 min set was awesome, driving energy & slamming basslines throughout....Top night

what a great night! nice to meet some of you guys for the first time, cheers to renegade, pasocon-otaku, reemo & St Luke (even if i was confused about which DJ was which for a while). ta to luke for guestlist. and always nice to catch up with you loulou!
thought most of the support acts were pretty damn good, tho a lil too hard sometimes (considering there was a whole level upstairs for that!) what can i say. im a fluffy pretty sound enthusiast but generally everything was great! Nu-NRG rocked, tho i must say some of their newer stuff doesnt do a huge amount for me, but was cool on the night. you melbourne kiddies are lucky lil ******s!

work tomorrow. damn

Posted by tachyon on Oct-24-2004 22:09:

was a great night!

sound system could've been better!

supporting DJs can be waaay to hard sometimes (or maybe i'm just a softcock)

nice to hear 'the eternal' again after not hearing it for quite some time!

would like to take the robot on the psy trance level home (i just <3 toys )

Posted by Anomyst on Oct-25-2004 00:29:

Posted by joshyd on Oct-25-2004 08:03:

luke, u realise this set is gona get downloaded A LOT, and the guys bandwidth (sp) is gona get raped!!! maybe u should pm the url instead of posting it here. it will still get out, but to not as many people.

Posted by St. Luke on Oct-25-2004 08:43:

ahh, ok. yeah he mentioned that, im not sure how it all works with all this bandwidth stuff , im pretty sure we can host it, or part of it, on the new 3D website, if not we'll do the PM thang Thanx for the advise

Posted by St. Luke on Oct-25-2004 09:55:

photo's are up --> http://www.gospelofdance.com.au/Dj%...s/3Dphotos2.htm

what a farking night!!!!!! i took a shitload of photo's of NU NRG & not much of anything else, but there are some good ones there!

That was definately the most amazing thing i have ever seen, the set up was unbelieveabe!! & having my fave producers up there playing my favorite tunes, it just couldnt have got any better!!!!!

also I have to apologize to anyone who tried to talk to me that night, i really wanted to meet a few of you TA guys, but my head just wasnt there, it was a full on day! i hope i didnt seem rude, i just couldnt think straight, & all i was worried about was the recording of their set (which came out fking awesome!!!!) as some of you know, i aint the best with computers & if i hadda fked that recording up, something very ugly may have happened but thanx to all who came, you were all part of the best night of my life!!! maybe we'll see you back there sometime soon
