Yes, I do have a number of MP3's on my computer, and Livesets... But I don't use them in any of my DJing, nor do I ripped unreleased tracks from the livesets and use them to my benefit...

Most of the MP3's I have on my PC, I also have on Vinyl in my record box... MP3's for me are a way to sample if I like something, and if I like it, I go buy it on record... if I don't I delete it from my pc... as I am sure ALOT of TA's do aswell.. Not all, but Alot....

I dont care, i knew from post one that no one was going to agree with me. Like i say, i know 99% of TA users download/share illegal music. Yet as soon as something like this happens you cant find a single one Its very strange.

i want to know how exactly that guy was hurting max graham's career
he's doing a set featuring a track of mg's. this means that people who might never have heard of max graham now get to hear this track
it also means that if you heard this track in a club but didn't know what it was you do now. if the track is good then everyone soon will be going "max graham omg i die 1111".
if the track is shit then the track is shit
and lastly all this commotion is making EVERYONE aware of this track
like i said, free advertising

The track hadn't been released yet. Free advertising? No. Free distribution is more like it.

honestly i dont think mg has much better things to do... you know for a fact how dry his bookings are in the UK and how desperate he is to get back over, but until then he seems to spend most of his time posting on his website.

I dont begrudge the guy having a laugh at this idiots expense, but a 'pro' artist coming on TA and boasting about how he caught someone out is sad and indicative of someone with too much time on their hands.

yes free advertising
instead of people finding out about this track 1 day before the release they now know about it 2/3 months or whatever the timescale for the release is

What do you want?

People to jump up and down with a sign saying i support filesharing.

You know thats about as likely as people coming out saying they wanna shag their best friends mum.

From all i can see is your skating uphill saying people please admit you do it, and every other person who couldnt give two hoots about what your saying is skating downhill.

Please, drop it. For your sake.

You KNOW? Really? You know this for a fact? Wow...you're like some kind of a psychic or something? Why do you even bother with TA? You should go play the lottery.

99% of 38,441 = 38,056

I highly doubt that 38,056 TA's download and share.... I know that what I download doesn't get shared... and I don't go around downloading from other TA's. Like I said most of us go out and purchase something if we like the MP3 that we download, therefore the MP3 is no longer illegal if we have purchased another copy/form of it.... I bet it is a pretty small majority of TA's that do what you are accusing 99% of us for doing.
