Put more effort in finding high-quality progressive records instead of this rubbish.

LOL, Dave Piazza...you really are a douche bag!!!!

And I suppose you are highly impressed by Vandit releases.

LOL. Piss off.

I think everyone but VANDIT RECORDS, agrees that VANDIT RECORDS doesn't know what the hell he's talking about... so let's just enjoy 005 when it gets uploaded today .

Posted by Steven Hays on Nov-23-2004 03:38:

Sorry guys, I gotta postponed this again! I'll TRY to bring two more mixes to you on next Monday. With the recent storms here in Texas and the power constanly going on and off here at my apartment I wasn't able to complete 005. I'm leaving for Houston for Thanksgiving and I won't be back til the weekend. Sorry once again, and thanks for all the backup.

___________

It's clear as day who made the comment above and it only shows to be unprofessional and immature. As a DJ amongst all other DJ's I just think you have to show respect for one another as we are all trying to make other's happy and fulfill what we think is our right doings. When you read this Dave (aka Dave Piazza/VANDIT RECORDS) you will know you are the lesser of us both, if you didn't know that already, and maybe one day you can actually do what you blab about all the time. As an aspiring DJ, I have to pick and choose which comments I take to heart and what will make me better. (In all honesty 99% of them are accounted for) In this case, Dave, you fall within that final 1% in which I laugh at and continue doing what I'm doing.

___________

Once again I apologize. I really look forward to every Monday and to hear all the great things you guys have to say. Afterall, you are the driving force behind my mixes and it makes me proud to say I'm in the same group with all of you. Everyone have a Great Thanksgiving, American or Not, and I'll see you all next week.

Ok because you are blaming me for something I did not do I feel the need to respond.

First, I am not VANDIT RECORDS, but I do know who it is

Second, if I wanted to give feedback about your mix I would use my own screen name If you know me I am a very open person and am honest in what I say. I have nothing to hide. If I wanted to say you suck I would tell you and not play fucking games.

Third, I usually don't post in an amateur DJ thread unless the mix draws my attention. I already told you that I liked your mixes about 3 weeks ago in this same thread. I deleted that comment after reading this post because youre acting like an ass towards me and I don't appreciate that.

You obviously are over reaction to a comment someone I know made about your mix and youre blaming me for that. Who is acting unprofessional.

I think youre a talented DJ and I like some of your mixes. However, your false accusations and lame attempts to insult me is something I can not just let pass by and is the reason why I decided to respond back.

As I DJ I know how important feedback is. As I mentioned before, I only give feedback to DJ's that catch my attention. Before this post I was going to give you some positive feedback beyond ' good work ' 'nice mix' ect. but after witnessing your behavior towards me I decided to withdrawal my efforts.

You have jumped to conclusions and made yourself look foolish in this thread. I hope in the future you learn not to accuse people of things they did not say and trust people when they tell you they did not say them.

I still admire your work as a DJ but as a person I have lost some respect for you given your actions today.

Best,

David Piazza

Posted by 5847 on Nov-26-2004 04:08:

Very nice mixes....I am in absolute shock of such smoothness of the beats and sounds you have put together here....

Excellent is all I can say....

Cheers,

Luis

great to hear from you about 005, looking forward to it

Posted by Steven Hays on Nov-30-2004 04:23:

I'll get this finished one day. I'm really pissed the way things are coming and my neighbors in my Apartment aren't helping either. A lot of complaints and not enough time that I need to get things rolling like I would like. I can't make promises anymore, so just look out for the download in the next couple of days. I did post the Tracklist, and I have made the mix, I'm just not satisfied with the outcome. I must have things perfect before I let everyone download. Til then...

Hey Sly, I have tomorrow and Sunday off from work, so you can bet your ass I'll be finishing 005 and 006. Thanks for the check up.

Oh yeah, and I tried to log in under my Username and Password at Globalbeatz and it doesn't work now(So for now I can't upload anything). I'm assuming someone logged on as it and changed the password, but I'm trying to get that resolved now.

Posted by WarrriorOfKung on Dec-05-2004 18:59:

I want to get the Nov 29 set.
Where is the link????.
BTW Session 004 Kicks Much Ass!!!
OutFR#@7Standing!!

Posted by Steven Hays on Dec-05-2004 22:06:

Glad you liked and 005-006 will be up as soon as I get my Username resolved. I got an e-mail reply this morning from the webmaster:

Your account was deleted because it appeared as though it was given out to people so they could download mp3s without registering on the messageboard themselves. Was this not the case?

Andrew Davidoff

So, obviously if you want to d/l my sets you have to sign up at globalbeatz.net. No one do it just yet as I don't know if I will resume an account there yet. I'll let everyone know as soon as I get a resolution e-mail from the Andrew. Thanks everyone.

Wel the god news for me is I,ve been a menber for a good while.
So I,m just waiting on 005-6.

Posted by dj Zevan on Dec-05-2004 22:51:

haben't heard any mixes, but the tracklists look incredible
great sets

Posted by Steven Hays on Dec-06-2004 02:40:

Thanks Zevan, you have impecable taste.

I posted a link for 006 and I will put 005 up tomorrow or Tuesday. I don't know how many d/l's it will allow as I've changed my name on there because I was forced to. I just don't know if my account switched over yet or if it will be for that matter. I will see by the number of d/l's and proceed to fix it.

006 is very chill and brings back the sound of VCS after doing 005(ironically not posted yet). Some great breaks in this one, all tracks are breakbeat but the first. The first sounds really good in your headphones or if you have your speakers far apart from each other. The last two tracks up the pace a little bit and finish greatly again with D Howell's Funk It, but this time the Breaks mix, which by the way is possibly the track of the year. Mixing came out well the first time through, a mistake here or there, not being picky. So enjoy.

Thanks everyone for the support once again. It doesn't go unappreciated.
