Kerry is a better speaker, but is a better leader? I doubt it. Was everyone aware his wife inherited the heinz fortune of about 500m? Hes not exactly the poorest fellow arround...

If Kerry comes into office he might stablize the economy more and contribute to our homeland issues, but to me, that will never mean more then a human life. Together as a society we have to understand that, these homeland issues (abortion, human rights, economy...etc) they are cyclical. There will be solutions, help, rights granted, all of that. But in the time that we live right now, we face war. It's not on our soil but we live amongst it. Rock the Vote please and be wise and keen to what is happening now as it will affect the future. I've lost a few people on 9/11, I don't need to worry about losing more. RIP 9/11. |

Bush, Kerry, or Nader... whether your vote "counts," as in a swing state, or whether your vote "doesn't count" because you're voting for Bush in NY.... it all DOESN'T EVEN FREAKIN' MATTER as long as you get your ass out there to vote, cast an absentee ballot, whatever.
You have no right to complain or to choose sides if you choose not to do anything about what you dislike...

I believe the change has to start at the top with our current president and his cronies. changing presidents in war-time is risky but it's a risk that must be taken. i can assure that things here in Iraq get worse everyday. a lot of people from home ask me,"Is it as bad as it looks on TV?" and all i can tell them is "No, it's much much worse than you could ever imagine." I've been in Iraq for 8 months now and I've been doing my best to keep up on this election. I have read many books, magazines, and newspapers so that i can properly vote in this election. i hope that you all do the same. you have 9 days and counting. Thanks for reading. |

My brother also served irag and was there for 2 years.... My point was kerry is trying to promote himself as a common peoples man. When in fact
he is anything but. He has twice married heirresses(sp?).

Anyone who votes for Nader is a goddamn clueless idiot. He has turned into even more of a self-righteous douchebag than Bush. He has ZERO skills as a leader, and would make a horrible president. He has done some great things in the past, but honestly, he needs to swallow his pride and step down for the good of the country.
As for Kerry trying to play himself off as the common man -- I agree that he is far from it, but so is Bush. The only reason people associate Bush with the "average joe" is because he is such a fucking dumbass. But really, he too was born with a silver spoon in his mouth and he is about as far removed from the average joe as you can get.
All politicians try to be percieved as a man of the people...it's how they win over voters. Arguing against one politician for this reason and ignoring the other ones is ignorant.
