just remember where those votes come from is important. if they are all from cities then it does not bode well for kerry however if they are areas outside the urban areas it may be a good thing

Are all these states 'won' being judged by the actual votes or by exit polls and stuff?

the ones projected by cnn are based on actual votes, NOT exit polls. but their projections are based on a certain percentage of precincts that are reporting

Posted by occrider on Nov-03-2004 04:38:

Wow it's damn close. Looks like everything is hinging on Ohio. 96% of the precincts of Florida are in and it looks like Bush has won. Only 56% of the precincts are in with Ohio with Bush maintaining the lead ...

Say hello to Bush for the next 4 years

If we get Winsconsin, Minnesotta, New Hampshire, Michigan, Oregon, Hawaii, Washington, Kerry could still win, in fact, if you play araound with numbers, we could give away one of those states too.. ( the 4 electorate states though )

Posted by Epicurus on Nov-03-2004 05:03:

It's Ohio or bust for Kerry. If Bush wins Ohio (20), then it's over. He's already got Florida (27) in my opinion and he will get Colorado (9) and New Mexico (5). That would put him at 271 EV according to Fox, and that would be that, even if Kerry wins all remaining undecided states (MN, IA, WI, MI, NV, OR, AK, HI). Truly a sad day
