Its amazing how much wrestling has progressed. Back in the day, guys were considered high fliers when they hit an elbow drop off the 2nd rope.

but now:

i love it.

How do those guys NOT get hurt when they do that... I know the ring is heavily padded and springy, but that must still hurt A LOT.

OMFG!!! The Bushwackers! They were are mascots/heroes for our company in Korea! We even adopted the name and were known as the "Bushwackers". Often marched in the true "Bushwacker" style. Lol!!!

Company song was "We Won't Back Down" by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers.

Hooah!

Im pretty sure he did get hurt, but from a different move in that match. When jumping that high into the ring, its all about the way you land aka bump. He landed at the right angle, if he woulda landed on his upper back ror his feet he coulda injured himself very seriously.

Alright, didn't read all the threads so don't know if Andre the Giant was mentioned. The Washington Redskins wanted to recruit him as a tackle at one time, but the deal fell through. Anyhow, this was a really big Motherf*cker, a giant!
