i mean, come on. no offense meant, really. but don't you think it's a little redundant to put the genre of music you like as part of your name in a forum dedicated to said genre?

What if your real name is already very original and imaginative?

Posted by Adrias on Nov-16-2004 03:10:

My real first name is actually Adrian thats how I got my name. I think every one should come up with a name that represents them if its cool or not rather then pose as something your not.

Yes and what the shit is up with every second newbie to put DJ as part of his nick, when 90% of them don't know shit about it?

Posted by plastikE on Nov-16-2004 08:51:

i've seen and been in some most brutal battles on the net before, that truly did deserve applause, but for reasons of dignity, rarely do you see someone one actually giving it. Even to the victor, it can look distasteful and quite unadmirable.

if you're going to use fancy words against someone to describe inadequacy, its always good to spell them properly

I think people who think people who use their real name as part of their nick just shows a general lack of imagination and originality think too much about what other people think about.

If you need a nick to show how original and imaginative you are, you probably isn't that original anyway (yes, I want in too ).

+1

You are right on here.

Posted by SportTrance on Nov-16-2004 18:24:

which is worse, a user with DJ in his user name and no knowledge on the music, or a user who's entire user name and signature is based on a drug.....

imo they both fall right in to the sadly true stereotype EDM in america has to deal with.

Posted by Adrias on Nov-16-2004 18:27:

Yea people like that are just plain loosers. I never knew a person could be so happy about the drugs they do.

i think that if I'm thinking what i think you think i think I'm thinking then think about what i think about what you think i think you think i'm thinking. i think.

That's what I thought

I think the name they use on tranceaddict is insignificant. Take mine for example-I don't actually live in the city, and I am most definitely not a kitty. It's just a nickname-I wouldn't judge ppl based on theirs.
