Trance does definately get old, and new releases get increasingly dissapointing, which seems to make everyone go looking for good music elsewhere. It does seem weird that they mostly appear to look for dark low bassier styles when that happens tho. I mean, just because trance is bad doesnt seem like a great reason to give up all hope on the mid range of pitches, but everyone wants things darker and deeper and more "chuggy". There are only a few prog and techno musicians that I like because I haven't taken a liking to this dark rumbly stuff, so for me all the genres seem to be just as hard to pick good tracks out of. The good side of that is that nobody has the same music collection as me though :-D
