I see a grass roots movement in creating a new official genre.

Mr. Bruuen, I'd have to say the bottom line is this :

There are much more effective ways to "sound cool" than to make little acronym nicknames for things.

Everybody has the ability to label/name/title things in their own unique way - it's called having character. If others agree or relate to the label/name/title then they may adopt it for themselves - if others don't agree or relate then they most likely won't.

fair enough. i'm not saying its fake though, its just your own interpretation of what you're saying the music is, and if that helps you categorize it better, then go for it.but its not something thats actually recognized as a sub-genre of music. On the plus side to your accronym...at least yours makes sense to a specific form of music...my pet peeve is just the hundreds of sub-genres spontaniously created for no reason by random ppl, which essentially doesn't allow anyone but the creater to really know one form of music from the next. ishur's music guide is a prime example, some of those genres are so rediculous.

...or even newer acronym DDTTT

Dirty Dark Techy Tribal Trance

ie

Greece 2000 tribal remix
Dekoze's mix of Peace Division & PVD

ddtt

The Official Electronic Music Genre Standards and Classifications Consortium (of which you are not a member of, btw) does not recognize nor acknowledge the existence of any branch-off, strain or tributary style of music from the progressive/techno pantheon known or conceivably known as anything similar to "DDTT".

So there.

This "official" EMGS and C ... also recognizes that German djs produce "dutch" trance and is very good at using Mislabled MP3's in its guide

so get your head out of your ass

and when is (FAKE trance a description of a genre?)..

rj...sorry for bashing your new genre ...i just checked out a handful of these tunes and they're fawkin sweet!!!! great music!!!

so diverse now...i love everything from trance & techno to prog, house, now this DDTT (which is kinda like dirty tribally version of prog house...so i guess there is the need to differentiate it a bit from the usual proggy house stuff)
