Hmm if a girl kicks you in the balls you should definitely fight back. you shouldn't let that kind of crap slide! Not a 'belting' as such, but that bitch sounds like she needs a good slap round the face.
There has only been one guy I've slapped in anger that didn't deserve it. I expected him to hit back, and I somewhat wish he did. Then I wouldn't feel so guilty...
if women want true equality, then they have to be ready to take the hits if they're going to physically lash out at men.
I cant believe some of the responses to this thread! No wonder there is such a domestic violence problem in society and those ads are on tv.
I think, even in the most extreme situations there are other ways to defend yourself other than actually hitting. Violence isnt the way to deal with it, its never ok.
There's a few good points in which a guy canhit a girl. Personally I like the kidneys. Hurts like a bitch and no one sees the bruises.

well, sorry fellas, but i can't stand blokes that hit women full stop whether they deserve it or not ! Really it shouldn't get that far to violence ! Christ, we all go out to meet people and have a great time, but there is always that small percentage who seem to over step the line, male or female ! Guess it's to be expected, as we all have our own morals and personalities ! 
this isn't aimed directly at anyone in particular, nor is what i've written to be taken offensively. Those who know me, know i'm not that way inclined at all.

Girls seem to think that they are untouchable...but hitting someone is bad no matter if they are a girl or a boy. I have many friends who dont give a fuck and will hit girls.
Once me and a mate were waiting for a cab late at night and the cabby saw us but went to pick up a few chicks instead. So we yelled to them to get out of the cab and then they racially abused my mate. He ran over to the cab and pulled one of the chicks out by the hair and then kneed her hard in the face.... i couldnt believe it. And hes a big tongan boy as well. We got out of there pretty quick!

Ok, I think this says it all...
A young couple in evening dress hobbled into a Washington emergency room covered in bloody napkins. The man's serviettes were around his waist, while the woman's were on her head. Sheepishly, they explained that they had been having a romantic dinner, when, overcome with passion, the woman slipped under the table and began oral sex. She then suffered an epileptic fit. The seizure caused her to clamp down hard on the guy's member, wrenching it violently from side to side.
In agony and desperation, the man grabbed his fork and stabbed the woman in the head until she let go.
