I say we boil down the top 5 most mentioned in this thread and post a poll or something. We could go on all day saying "remix this, remix that".

Agnelli & Nelson - Everyday has never really had any groundbreaking remixes and i think i have an accapella of it somewhere.

Hey, that's a sweet idea. Everyday is such a classic! I'm down for that.

I think it might be too much of a classic, maybe it might be worth doing something abit newer?!

heh well that was my intention... i just expected to be more inspired by the suggestions than i am now (my own fault, there's quite a nice variety but i didn't realise how picky i was). eg, two of the most mentioned tracks are theme from norefjell & sunrise at palamos, neither of which i really like nor can see much variety spawning from.

ok, if we were to do it the other way round, after many months of consideration i'd probably invite people to choose between:

Yahel - Voyage
Jones & Stephenson - The First Rebirth
Lange - Frozen Beach
Albinoni - Adagio
Way Out West - Blue

unless there's any immediate objection to any of those then i'll probs start a poll soon

I agree, classic.. and has been needing a good remix since 99'!!

Posted by Signal2005 on May-12-2005 14:14:

tracks that need remixes

A-ha - Take On Me

Billy Idol - Rebel Yell

Real Life - Send Me An Angel

Billy Idols New Single - Scream

and some ozzy tracks.

wouldnt it be cool to remix other styles than trance and make them trance remixes.

so many possibilities.and a resurection lol

an acapella for such a track would be preferable...

if we would have the acapella for "As The Rush Comes" we wouldnt have been discussing this..

woohoo, that makes 1

Signal2005, I find some of your suggestions absolutely shocking.. Take on Me?!? Billy Idol?! to each his own i guess

everyday wouldn't be THAT bad but to be honest i wasn't overly keen on the vocals and without them, the track is pretty basic & not really in need of a remix, imho

Nice list. You should just pick one and bollocks to what anyone else thinks. It's your prerogative as contest winner!

Posted by djkuco2 on May-14-2005 18:53:

first rebirth is a massiv classic, so that one should be nice

anyway, i keep on following this thread, cause i'm in

Well... what you need to do..

Find the person who won the last competition

Have him select a track to remix

Find 3-5 judges

Get a remix pack (vocals and/or MIDI)

Post the deadline for submissions

Judge

Announce the winner

Floor divisions - Yellow reator room

lets see who can handle the pad sequence

Voyage seems cool also.

is Stan anywhere near? i know he is the best one to organize it all, he did well last time with choosing judges and accuring webspace.
