| Originally posted by Arbiter In the past I would have said yes, but I think it was a shallow viewpoint on the issue. Death is just death. When you are dead you have no feelings or regrets, no suffering, and no sadness. It is much worse to be the survivor, to see the lifeless body of the person you love so deeply and to be powerless to do anything for them. That pain and that suffering cannot be imagined unless you have experienced it yourself, and it is a fate far worse than death. So I do not think I could ever believe that I would actually be doing someone a favor by dying if they truly cared about me, and if I genuinely loved someone I think that is the very last thing I could ever bring myself to put them through. |
.
it depends on the situation
Not any more
Life is precious, and if I could give mine to save the one I love I would.
I'd croak for the Skank.

Do you think your life would still be so much fun? |
). you need to realise you don't 'need' any particular person
In the past I would have said yes. As of now, considering that I haven't loved somebody for a long time and that even my views about life have changed it has dropped to a "possibly".
But this,

| Originally posted by dj_mdma yes i would. How about another spin on the question... Would you do absolutely anything for the person you love? And my answer would be yes again. Endre - I Kill For You springs to mind... |
hmm let me think about dying for my family? Wouldnt do it In fact i would sometimes really enjoy killing them myself. So if I wont die for family I wouldnt die for the one I "Love"
yes, I would. But doing absolutely anything, no. There are far worse things than death (as someone already mentioned)
yes
Yep. In a heartbeat.
not a fuckn chance.
die for someone you loved?
there isnt one girl/boy(if thats what floats your boat, floorfiller
) so why cut your life short?
you bound to find someone else you love.
also, if you loved her, you dont want to be up in heaven looking down on her riding some other guy.
well i think teh question is really really vague...
i think to get more accurate resposne, you need to make a situation up
like, "if you were to save your loved one from a potentially fatal car accident, but in the process would require you to sacrifice yourself in his/her place... would you do it?" or somethign liek that
ya. i could care less about myself. i'd die for them
If I would ask you the same question after a year or two, probably the most would say "no". And thats the only smart answer. People just done realize.
