Well, I just read on a big Dutch forum (Clubcharts) that ASOT will probably be going international (so that means it will be in English), so you can only listen to it on the internet (we Dutch could always listen to it on the radio). Just check this link:

i am very sad to see your steps being taken on the last half of year against providing us the trance music costumers the good shows we were enjoying of. i might not give nothing to your rating cause i only can hear the show on internet radio but there are thousands of people who just like me see a possible stop of the asot shows as a red line that will force us all to send you these sort of e-mails so that you could see that there are many supporters to armin and his show never fell from its high standards for us. i won't mention three other dj's i feel sad for ending up their shows... gielen with lift off
marco v with in charge
and ferry with world tour

i hope the big bosses of the station has a little bit more than only money threw their eyes... i'm not saying that you bring back all the shows
you have the right to change something that havent been doing so well (i hope it will gone even worst and you finally return to the trance and proggy shows just like in the good days) but still such a big change? canceling all the trance shows its way to radical
armin found a home to publish his music and many artists he support by id& t radio
and it gona very big i think
armin is big enough to search and find other big home (just like gielen might do soon) and you will finally be the big losers when you will find out that the low numbers on the rating tables are getting much lower now that you stopped broadcasting trance shows...
just think about that.. i hope that either the financial reason or the idealistic reasons will keep the show on a regular basic on id&t
and if not..
be ready for many e-mails just like this one
armin & the electronic music fans won't sit on their chairs and wait to see what happens
we should have done it back on june 2004 when we lost the ferry and marco v shows "

and you trance lovers have your word too
don't just sit over there...
we all must take some minutes of our free time that thanks to id&t we now also have 2 free hours on thursdays maybe.
we must bomb their mail with a large amount of e-mails supporting armin and other trance shows.
don't let them do what they are already doing...
at least lets fight till the bitter end that might happen!

We had the same problem in England with Kiss 100, apparently their license says they are a 'rhytmic' station, hence allowing them to play r&b, hip hop and upbeat pop.

i think Armin's busy schedule might have something to do with it as well. i've always wondered how he managed to come up with a two-hour show every week.

obviously i'm very sad that there's no fixed show anymore, but i can definitely understand the decision. unless of course Armin would be glad to continue the show and all of this is indeed the result of ID&T's transformation.

anyway, i guess we'll have to rely on TATW no for the newest trance tracks.

something just happened...the set stopped, another one started, and now the stream reads "In 2 Trance"

Apparently it's a set from the 6th of january out of 2001
