heh nice, how do you pick your tracks? Do you go into the show with a rough idea of few you want to play or is it all on the fly?

What was the song KT played where the girl was singin "Trying to Trying to" in the chorus or whatever. That's all I remember from the song but I liked it.

For regular shows i dont even think about what im going to play till i get there and start reading the crowd. For big shows like Armin and such sometimes in the moment i tend to forget about newer tracks that im totally loving and kick myself at the end of the night for not playing them. So what i do now is before the show make a list of the big tracks that i want to play that night. Its not in any particular order, but just a list i occasionally look at when im figuring out what direction im going to head in the next few tracks.

Phenn, the vocal you asked about above i tnink is: Keo- Close Enough (Noel Sanger remix) Its AMAZING! It will be out in May on Armada (not sure which sub label) Its also going to be on the new Markus Schulz mix CD Miami 05.

I completely forgot the smoke detector (or whatever it was) went off during KT's set until I heard it on one of your videos. I was just there thinking to myself "I've never heard KT have a bad mix like this..." and then I realized it was an alarm.

Posted by trilasonet on Apr-03-2005 01:02:

LOL, I forgot about that too. The flashing lights added to a great show for the 3 minutes it lasted.

how come i dont' remeber that? and i was sober???? confused, i forgot till today that the music COMPLETELY shut off during armins set

I don't remember an alarm either and I was mostly sober.

Posted by Atari Addict on Apr-03-2005 06:40:

i was far from sober... but i don't remember an alarm or abnormal flashing lights... i do remember that 3second stop in the music tho...i think it was at the begining of major league? Armin held up his hands like he had no idea what happened luckily it was soon forgotten.

Posted by Tuis on Apr-03-2005 07:29:

I don't remember any alarm or lull in the music...but I also didn't think I was drunk until I was walking to The Works and realized "shit, I cant walk a straight line..thank God no one else seems to be around to notice..."

My only disappointment...wait, take that back, there were two...

1. I had nothing to sign or to sign with when I actually got to meet Armin - though I did get to shake the man's hand.

2. It only lasted 7 hours.

My arms, back, and neck are still sore...damn age...damn it!

how was the after party no one has really said anything about it????

Posted by xGirlx on Apr-03-2005 17:50:

So I don't know if I should really admit this....
but the 3 second stop in Armin's set was my fault. Uhm, ya hate me now. I accidentally hit a button on the deck.

hahaha, do you have brown hair, i seen someone up there that kind of turned around, hahah its ok, that must of sucked enough for you lol :P i remember standing up when Ferry Corsten was playing and my friend hit a wire, it was obvious but ferry noticed hahaha

The after party was kickin'. Elevation kept the energy just as high in the wee hours of the morning as it was when Armin was in full force. Not as many people, mind you, but everyone present seemed to be enjoying themselves. Plus, how often do you get to personally meet and compliment the people that entertain you?
