Personally I don't understand the asking of finances right up front IN THE FIRST CALL???? WTF?
That would red flag is right there for me.
If she's not willing to get to know me before knowing my situation then she would already be under my acceptance line and would have to crawl her own way back up on my list that I'm mentally building.

Making you late with other people involved.
She was aware before-hand of the meeting situation.
She disrespected your time AND your friends.

Your friend having to pay for her food without you knowing.
What else would she do behind your back?

Expecting to get a drink after suggesting you guys go get a drink.
Lame. If someone suggested that to me, I would almost expect them to offer me one! Not sit there and wait for me to pay after the drink is in front of me after I suggested it...

UM i though people were screaming for equality here.

For the record I had no problem taking care of the night financially except that her behaviour and expectations were very reprehensable.

BTW...u weren't even on a date...so ur not under any obligation to pay for anything. And if she was mature enuf she would have been straight out (not fresh) and said that she didn't have money for gas and needed a fill up.

If I were you and got a call from her again....I'd be straight out and say your not interested. But if you want to safeguard yourself from possible gossip (and these girls use their looks to convince others of how they've been wronged)...then say your going through financial problems and can't afford to get into a relationship right now. That'll put a stop to it.

Unfortunately I've met girls like this...they use their good looks and then treat the guys like crap. It's not uncommon for them to spread the word... "what a chump", I'll get him to....

Word to the wise: If your only in it for the sex, then just remember your paying for it. Is she worth it?

its encouraging to see that most guys here seem to have some self respect. Or at least what they are saying seems to point to that direction.

So who then are the chumps out there who cave in? Surely they exist or women like this wouldnt exist.

Remember guys and girls. Usually the way that a certain type male or female that operates in society (In the dating context anyways) is a direct result of how much the opposite sex has been told by society to just accept it.

For years women were told to accept the situation that men gave them. Sadly I see the roles have largely reversed. What ever happened to the idea of equality (in the true sense of the word?) Last I checked, equality meant that men were involved.

None of the majority of girls that I've met are like that. It's only a small percentage IMO. And I never make these girls my friends either. They hate it when a person is straight out with them.

Tho there prolly are thorns....maybe it's time to change your strategy. Maybe it's best to keep them guessing about your job and income....and don't offer that your a nice guy that pays for things either. Sometimes it's the mystery that makes the relationship better.

I already do these things. I run into these women a lot but the difference was that the circumstances around these were very extreme. These types are usually a but more subtle. I just cant believe how crass she was about it.

Like i said, if you know where to look you will find good people but the point is that you have to really avoid the thorns.

I think changing your strategy again might help...bc I can't see any women just coming up off the top of their head with a line like...

Most guys at this point would have done an about face and cut their losses. Not spend a few more hours with this slimy leach.
You should have trusted your earlier reservations...that way you could have spared yourself the trouble and the cost.

Hi, I'm well aware of the fact that not ALL girls are like this, like a typical salty liberal, YOU made the assumption that I believe it to be so ("He said black?! RACIST! Call the Firepeople and Policepersons!"). I made a general comment based on the observation that these days, many females have 0 respect for guys. And it's the guy's fault in 99% of the cases, it's because guys will let females walk all over them with the thought that women want a nice guy who will pay for everything, compliment them 50 times a night, tell them their entire life story by the end of the second date, and do anything that the female asks. NEWFLASH, they don't, these types of guys are boring. If a woman is truly interested in a guy, they could have a first date at Taco Bell and (assuming the guy isn't just a broke 'nice guy') she'd love the idea of eating some inexpensive Mexican food.

Since never, it's called an opinion, and it's an opinion I believe to be right based on conversations with many of my girl friends and observing their behavior when guys do certain things to them. Unlike many guys who will sit back and say "I don't understand", I like to think about WHY. And a female who plays games, HATES... absolutely, positively HATES to be trumped the way Jay trumped this bitch.

PS: I don't date these types of girls, I would not have even made plans with this chick after that horrible phone call.

What have I posted that would be so offensive? That girls who play games hate losing? That many guys don't have any self-respect and thus, get none in return from females? Females don't disrespect guys because they're bitches, they disrespect guys because they're given reason too. I've commented on general male mentality in today's day and age. For example, if a girl I met was giving me gifts on every date and paying for the dates, calling me daily just to tell me she loves me, pushing any and all plans aside any time I said I wanted to do something, after I made her pay for the date and drive me around all night, I'd have no respect for her, so why do guys think GIRLS respect that type of behavior?

Treat a girl right, but for God's sake, have some self-respect people. You won't see too much of this behavior from a Trance forum with 75% males. Most will try to act tough and SAY they aren't owned by women, but put a beautiful one in front of them and I'll bet the leash and collar get snapped on REAL quick-types.

I guarentee you this chick that Jay took out has a HUGE level of respect for him now (not that she'll EVER admit it) because he stood up for himself and sent her packing. She had none up to that point.
