But i do have to sya, if there was direct support for the Mac, then i wouldnt mind picking up one of the next gen md players. When my sister had one, she had to go through so many hoops just to get music onto it. That experience turned me off of them.

unfortunately, there, AGAIN, (sony pisses me off here) will be no Mac support......

HOWEVER: you dont need to convert your MP3s to Atrac in order to send it to the MD, so, im guessing with VPC7 or maybe even VPC6, you could EASILY just drag and drop the mp3s from a shared folder to the MD via windows. My NetMD does work on my VPC6 in OS X, but its dog slow converting, i dont see why transferring data via usb to an external device would be slow. I'm gonna see if i can give it a whirl one day once the MDs come out, im DYING to try out that black one (RH10)...

ooooooh MZ-RH10 prettty

That is amazing. Now you can get something that plays MP3's AND RECORDS. I also believe that that model allows fast uploading of recorded stuff FROM THE player TO THE PC, which past MD's didn't. Its about time that Sony listened to the consumer and gave us functions we wanted, maybe they'll actually win some market share back from the iPod now?!

Now if they bring out a Network Walkman with a record function, USB upload and colour screen, i'd buy that in an instant!

I'm not keen on the idea of the music players having a camera built in, as the player is too big for the camera to be really portable. Phones with camera's is a more viable and practical prospect as proven in the last 18 months.
