good race today. very interesting to see all the drivers sit back and wait in the first half of the race and then attack in the second half. this is the second grand prix that seems to be building up to a climax towards the end of the race. we've seen some good scraps today, that's for sure..

well deserved victory for Alonso. it's a shame Raikkonen did not end up in the points, he was really on it today.

we're up for an interesting season, it seems.

I was watching the timing on the net, TV coverage isn't til later tonight

A great race by the looks of it, plenty of overtaking, battles all the way through the field. Bloody Fisichella taking Webber out, Webber was on fire, but good work by Heidfeld to take over where Webber left off and get on the podium.
Nice to see Toyota finally get some rewards for their efforts too.
Can't wait to actually see the race

I am watching it right now...

i dotn think webber was in the wrong at all. He was dead set on the podium aswell.

either way webber will be great this season and he is so young so look out for a great F1 career from him.

Agreed, Alonso dind't make any mistake, and neither did Raikkonen, but he really has bad luck.

I'm happy seeing Heidfeld in the podium, he has to be the most underrrated driver in the whole F1 (I think he is waaaay better than Webber, yet he is the 2nd Williams driver).

And what can I say about Schumi... The best driver of all times...

Kimi = Worst luck ever!

Pretty good race. Nice to see Toyota, Heidfeld and red bull up in points positions - everything is much more shuffled than last year, but it is only the 2nd race.

Really enjoyed that mini-battle between the 2 williams and heidfeld also.

oh yeh, lol @ ferrari's :P

i did actually set my alarm-clock for 7.00am for the itv live coverage...but i didnt get up and slept in till 1.00pm

Yeh, ITV's coverage does kinda suck, do other countries get full coverage of both qualifying rounds?

Posted by DarkFall01 on Mar-20-2005 18:53:

I came home from a party, turned the TV on, F1 was on, 5 laps to go and Alonso was winning, good way to end a night, I'm so happy
It sucks that the races are so late, it ended at 4am over here...

Hmm Schumi, bit disappointing weekend again
Ah well bit of a false start and i'm convinced he'll start performing again
ferrari decided to start with their new car a bit earlier that planned dunno when exactly though
I just hope it has only a glimpse of the F2002, which was simply untouchable and probably the best F1 model ever built

F2005 will be racing in Bahrain I don't know how it will run but lets hope it's on pace with the Renaults and the Williams'. As for Sepang, some good little battles and looking to be a great and exciting season this year.

Hes lucky he didnt see a tree in the middle of the track and crash. You know those imaginary trees he sees when he races which always makes him crash. LOSER hate him.

F2005 will crush the Mclarens and Williams and BAR for that matter but the Renaults there good. I actually wouldnt mind them winning but still FORZA FERRARI.

Juan Pablo Montoya is FAT.....and with that Xtra Fat he goes slow!

Posted by TICKET-TEAM24 on Mar-25-2005 11:02:

Same procedure as every year ...

wait a few weeks and schumacher will beat them all!

Posted by Trance Nutter on Mar-25-2005 11:27:

Ferrari have confirmed that they'll use the F2005 car in Bahrain. An old F2004M will be the spare car though.
Barrichello and Schumacher only drove the car for the first time this week.

Posted by twenty eight on Mar-26-2005 18:17:

Hope they have all the bugs worked out...Renault is just on a tear!
