oh shit do i need pictars?

Posted by Masonious on Feb-25-2005 18:47:

before and after shots are always nice to give everyone a gauge as to your progress...but most people probably won't post pictures methinks.

i think it's motivating to be able to see marked improvements from month to month so i'm gonna.

Posted by ricky on Feb-26-2005 11:28:

lol masonious.. did you just join these boards for the workout threads

Posted by Masonious on Feb-26-2005 22:42:

hehe, my bro (orbax) has been talkin about TA for years, i'd say the catalyst was the workout thread to be honest. but there have been several threads i've gotten a lot of joy out of reading.

some kickass peeps on TA

Posted by Nabistai on Feb-26-2005 23:13:

I've been thinking about starting to work out the past few weeks, but I've never gotten started because I don't have alot of time, my condition really sucks (give me a bike and I can give you a heart rate of 160-170 per minute), and it's like 250 for a subscription But maybe this thread will motivate me enough to actually get me started. Me thinks the biggest problem is not having any knowledge about workouts or diets. I'd read the work-out thread, but it's quite huge

Posted by Orbax on Feb-26-2005 23:15:

either post in the WO thread or PM me you current height, weight, level of fitness and average diet. If you cant find a cheap city gym ...normally its 70 USD for limetime sign up and 25 USD a month after for your small local gyms, I can make you a home routine...it wont be 1/10 as good as a gym but it can get you started. tell me what weights you have access to at home and hopefully we can get you goin somewhere

Posted by Miss Bliss on Feb-26-2005 23:16:

Well here's a picture, if no one else posts one oh well

This is me last May. I've gained 5ish pounds since then. I'd like to lose those them + 5 more by mid-May. No problems losing weight here, just keeping it off sucks esp. because I live on a block with the best restaurants in NYC So that's why I'm giving myself so much time...

Wow my boobs were small then...

Anyway this is prety much for my own records lol

Posted by Masonious on Feb-26-2005 23:18:

not a bad base at all. what's your goal in all this? weight loss?

Posted by Orbax on Feb-26-2005 23:19:

nice. Yeah id post in workout thread if you want some longevity to your online journalism haha. This is gonna be a more picture based reference with the actual workout diet and exercises happening in the WO thread.

Looks realy good though. If you want to get into something you have a great base to start off from. What I said above your post goes for you and anyone else whos interested in a routine as well

Posted by Miss Bliss on Feb-26-2005 23:25:

#1 priority is weight loss of about 10 pounds because that's the weight I was at 2 summers ago and I was the happiest I've ever been with my body. I am 157 now, so I wanna be down around 145. I'm 5'11.

#2 it would be nice to get some definition, esp. on my arms and shoulders, and my back. My thighs too, you know how some girls have this "cut" down their thighs and calves? That's hot. I do the weight machines twice a week and I know how to do them cause I had a personal trainer who taught me everything at one time... And I do cardio 3-4x a week. Don't have time to go to the gym more than 4x a week right now. Getting definition is really hard, I read all these things in magazines about how to improve parts of your body or whatever, but those moves are kinda embarassing to do in the gym... lol... even lunges, I used to do those and they were great. Now my university gym is like intimidating and everyone looks at you weird, I don't even do half the things I used to. Dumb, I know.

I have a good generic girl workout that should get you ripped lemme dig it out of my other comp hehe

did walker mention that i'm the most kickass of them all?

"took you two years "

thats with improper technique, bad routines, bad diet and winters and summers of heavy drinking.

Its something you could probably do in a year lol
