Hey tatgirl, I know Tom! I don't remember his TA name because he doesn't have internet connection and doesn't post that often. But I actually have him to thank for me being a TA, he introduced the site to me!
Anyhow, HOLY SHIT!! What a party!! I feel soooooooo bad I didn't get to hang out with many of the TA's that I met and I really wanted to, but alot of crazy shit happened that night. I DID get to meet alot of you, I dunno if you'll remember me at all, but I promise next party we'll get to chat somemore!
Trancearmada, you rule! The name tags thing was an awesome idea, I met sooooo many TA's because of it! And thanx again for the 'tour' when I got there! You TA's are awesome!
Armin blew me away, the set was incredible, although I really wish I coulda allowed myself to enjoy the music more, but I had too many things on my mind... But still, that was one of the best parties I've ever been to!
Sonic State, way to go, once again you have proved that you are THE best! And thanx Andre (this is Debbie's lil brother), you guys all rock!!

Well, well well. What could I possibly say about Saturday night?
Too much. Well, I met a lot of new people which is always refreshing, including "swamper" which was nice, because I've been meaning to meet the genius who put this site together for all of us TRANCE heads.
I also ran into a lot of people I haven't seen in awhile, which was awesome.
I was somehow confused when I got to the party at 11:00, and there was no lineup outside. Right then and there I figured the party was gonna suck ass, and then some guy said it was sold out, so Im like "okay maybe it will be good afterall" well I was right. It was AWESOME!!! Just the music that I heard that night not only made me MELT, but dance for almost 8 hours straight which is unlike me. 
(eh, I get tired easily).
I started to get really upset though when 4 o'clock came around and there was no sign of Armin. But then there he was...
One highlight of my night, and I can't remember if Orkidea played it or Armin, but Im pretty sure it was Orkidea, but it was when they played Bedrock-Heaven Scent. Only because that song is a CLASSIC, and I've never heard it at a party before. I can honestly say that I really felt like I was in the movie "GROOVE" it was kinda weird (trippy) haha.
It was a good crowd, everybody was really into it that night, and happy to eachother, and I love to see that at a party. I loved the fruit idea they did, that was genius...some of you probably saw me walking around with a huge thing of grapes at the beginning. haha
Then towards the end of the night I walked up to the dj booth and held up my ticket and pen to Armin, so he could sign it for me, and he kept me waiting for 20 minutes, and he thought it was funny. 
He kept looking at me and smiling, and then eventually he was like "oh okay okay, and then signed it" He then smiled and winked at me, and right then and there I I knew I was looking at a guy who is going somewhere in life..who has F***** Talent So young, so full of life. CAN YOU BELIEVE they spelled his name ARMIS on the ticket!?
I thought that was a little insulting considering he was the headliner and they didn't even get his name right, he ended up correcting it on my ticket which I thought was kinda humourous.
Anyhow, I don't even know why they had the other room open, I felt really bad for all the dj's who dj'd in there, but overall, it was a wicked party, and was definately worth the $$$. Some of you might kill me for saying this, but Im still debating who played a better set...Armin, or Tiesto? hehehehehehehe.
P.S. I showed up to the after party "briefly" around 1:00am, and I've never been to Element before, don't think I'll ever go back...it didn't even feel like an after party, cause there was like over 3 quarters of the people missing..there were honestly maybe 20 people total including the bartenders and dj's there in one small little room. I don't know...but whoever organized it, I think could have done much better. (no offence).

Thank you everyone for making this one of, if not the best parties ever! We saw so many people smiling, having a great time. The vibe was amazing, the music was incredible, and all of you were filled with positive energy! Thank you to everyone that helped decorate, thank you to everyone that helped flyer and promote, thank you to our wicked family who helped with more than we can list, thank you to every single party person who came with an open mind and a positve attitude. We were so happy to have a great time with you all, everything combined made our night a success regardless of the financial outcome.
We can't wait until Wintergalactic, but in then meantime we've got a little something else planned. We will be doing a small and intimate gathering in the next couple of months at ARIA nightclub. It will be for no more than 400 people, and it will be a 8 hour set by Orkidea, including a live/pa performance. We will keep you updated for the date. This night will absolutely blow your mind musically. Orkidea mixes up so many styles and cross genres of music in his extended sets you'd swear it'd be the most fulfilling musical journey of your life! Better than Digweed? Just wait and listen for yourself!!
Thanks again to all of you, without you we would have no reason to do what we do. Can't wait to party with you all again, shout's out from the whole Sonic State family, we'll miss you all until next time!

OK, there's been some long and beautiful descriptions of the party, so I'll keep this short.
Great venue, excellent visuals and decor, amazing music, and truly wonderful people!!! What else could one ask for at a party??
Like some others, Orkidea's set was the highlight of the night for me. Having never heard a thing from him, I was so pleasantly surprised with his incredibly energetic and unique set. I'd love to see him spin for 8 hours if this party SS is talking about happens!
Of course, goes without saying that Armin's set was also unbelievable, although a little predictable (which I didn't mind!).
Thank you again TooSweet for the awesome banner! Sorry we didn't meet. Trancearmada, brilliant name-tag idea. You two rock. 
My main men, TranceXtasy, Cloud 9, Bliss'n'Trance, Tranner, and Sarcoman, you guys just rock and made my night. Also awesome to see Swamper, Schmacks, EvMac, RuffRyda, nrg2infiniti, KansasCity89, and SkyBreak again. And shout outs to all the new awesome TA's I met including Halo 20 (I lost you bro!), cycloptor, Mandrick_V, bluE_Neon, misiek, and at least another 10 people (damn this Alzheimers!!). Can't wait to party with ALL of you again at the next big bash!

about the banner... it was my pleasure to have something i created as the meeting spot of the highly addicted... to trance that is Glad you saw the banner arcticboy... anyone else see it before it fell?
and i'd do it again (wintergalactic maybe?) this time... i'd crazy glue the mutha f@#%$! to the wall... i saw the props on the main page... much respect for that.
who was better? tiesto or armin... sounds like someone trying to cause something in major league jus kiddin. although i did prefer armin's set over tiesto's... no offence to tiesto. his set was wikkid, i jus liked armin's better. maybe cuz he threw in binary finary and wonder (where you are) near the end and an encore. but overall... i did prefer armin's set.
i hit trance parties all the time... so i'm sure i'll catch you addicts around.

any thoughts on the nxt headliner in toronto? or even wintergalactic
wouldn't mind seein mauro picotto back in town. or even imagine this... major league and orkidea at wintergalactic 2002. hey... what can i say... i'm a dreamer. it's jus been so amazing to have all these artists in town for a couple months... don't wanna see the streak end

Excellent party...much better than I expected (the Docks was never my favourite place!)
All 3 DJs were amazing and really out-did themselves (esp AVB...what a nice guy!)
Not too packed & definitely not empty...juuuust right
Nice crowd and cool set-up...PROPS to all those involved!
Violin guy was unexpected but definitely impressive...didn't see that coming! I think that was the turning point of the party (Lee Coombs remix of Crystal) and the rest is history..

armin, ferry & tiesto all kicked ass in the past few months (tiesto was the best of the 3 ), but I WOULD GIVE ANYTHING to have scott bond come back, anyone who saw him at guv a while ago would know EXACTLY what i mean...

AAAAhhhhh Scott Bond. I dont know what lange is like live, I know what bond is like, and he is good kid, real good see.

Its almost been a full week since the Party, and I have waited this entire time to post. In reality, the past few days were quite depressing. I was thinking to myself, this year Picotto, Ornadel, Bond, Gielen, Corsten, Teisto, PVD, Orkidea, and AVB all came to give us ear candy. Now, going forward, when is the next big name going to come. I see nothing scheduled for a headliner in TO's future.
State was amazing. I walked into the Docks, and loved the decor. The laser shows were trippy, and the best part of the night was definetly meeting so many TA's. My regular crew TranceXtacy, Cloud9, Bliss'n'Trance, thanks for making my night that much better. Arctic Boy, it was an absolute pleasure meeting you, I hope to Party with you many times again in the future. I hope your cousin had a good time too. TranceArmada, thanks for the nametags, they were a cool idea, and really facilitated everyones ability to introduce themselves around. The TrancEaddict community will grow with every party.
As for the Music, AVB was awesome. I loved how he played to the crowd, similar to how Tiesto did. I thought it was cool that he was close to the crowd. Orkidea, someone who I had heard nothing of before November 10, was an absolute dream. I had heard from many people that he would play pure progressive. To everyones amazement, Orkidea spun one of the best epic/uplifting sets. I cant wait for him to come to town again.
For now, I will just wait until Swamper to post "Upcoming Toronto Events" with a good headliner, and then I will Smile again.
