| Originally posted by djarecebo I had a wicked time last night! I was lookin all over for TAs and surprisingly I saw none.. Spent most of the night in the front, right around the stage. Mark O definately got the place pumped, I know i heard him drop a remix of Sander Kleinenberg - The Fruit a little before zabiela came on. Zabs spun basically an entire set of stuff I couldn't identify except the new remix of Aphex Twin - Windowlicker.. and what was that reggae track he ended with, anyone know? "say whoaaaaaaaaaa, say yeaaaaaaaaa" sounded very familiar.. all in all a really really wicked party! |
you saw one, sketch ball!

| Originally posted by Jayx1 maybe they should pass a law enforcing it then? ![]() Face it, if you go anywhere in public or have contact with anyone who has been in public you are going to get whatever the current illness is that is passing around. It is up to you personally to wash your hands frequently to try and prevent from getting ill. I look at every flu in the sense that at least i'll never have to worry about that strain again. Id rather build immunity now while im young than have to deal with it when im older and it's potentially more dangerous. |
OK back to the reviews:
Arrived at around midnight and the place was already quite busy. Mark was playing some great house. I especially liked the tune that sampled "go" by moby. I saw people jumping with their hands up really early on and at that point i told the people i was with that this was going to be "a really good night". There was some definate vibe happening.
James went on and i really enjoyed a lot of his music. He played a lot of remixed classics and varied from prog to breaks to house. The only critism i have is that at times it got a bit flat. I loved pretty much all the music that he played but i don't feel the crowd was responding that much towards the latter half. Flame retardant disclaimer: that in no way means that i thought he didnt present some amazing skill and great tunes, i just think that he didnt seem that able to connect with the crowd. I think James already stated that himself earlier as well.
Mark came back on and played an amazing techno set. Some of those tunes he played were downright hard and dirty. I was able to catch the first part of his set until 6 when i suddenly had to leave to tend to a friend who had partied herself out.
Considering I had 3 hours sleep all of friday and saturday id say i did pretty well for myself. All in all a great night!
It was great to see Irishgraham but sadly i didnt get to see any other TAs. We should try and fix that next time

You guys do realize that most pills have mould in them. That the filler they use to press them is a breeding ground for bacteria and other things. No labs are sterile. Like I said, there are alot worse things to worry about at Guv than a sick person. Everyone surely knows somebody who's gone on a puking fit after taking a bad pill.
The flu virus sticks to you for days after all your symptoms have dissappeared. There are so many more sickness' out there that people are constantly exposed to but most people are immune to them.
I didn't have a cough on Saturay night, and I do wash my hands after EVERY trip to the bathroom, I use soap too.
I can't make guarantee's that nobody will catch a cold from me, but the risk isn't as bad as you think. Maybe a mistake going out, and it would have been if I were going out for myself. But like I said, I went out for my friend Pat's birthday, I had to be there cause he was there for mine.

Karim
I had a bit of a cough on Saturday.
I guess i'm an asshole!!

based on how some people think you could really argue that the act of living itself is a selfish endeavor.
