Speaking from experience, this is true.

I remember hearing that the maids at the hotel we stayed @ in Acapulco made like $4 USD per week. That's how much a McDonalds meal costs down there.

A full loaf of bread, IIRC, cost something like 3/4 of a penny at WalMart.

Hahaha, and that was just a bit of it. I dunno, I guess it makes me dumb, but I am a very forgiving person, and I hate to leave things with people on bad notes. I've decided that after all the shit I went through, I shouldn't grace him with even a glance from my way.

It doesn't make you dumb in the least, just overly optimistic that most dudes aren't as crummy as they really are. Sounds as though you're like most women and fell for the jerk. The sad part was that in the beginning he wasn't the asshole. The first 2 years of the relationship were awesome. Once he got involved with drugs, that's when he became a prick.

Theresa if you were together for 3 years, it obviously means you are very close each other, he loved you, and you loved him, perhaps he still loves you, i think so...you just have turn over a new leaf cause it will lead to nowhere and nothing, if you broke up there were reasons for that, and still being friends after a 3 years relationship is impossible cause he will still want more...explain to him...
