so much love from a liverpool man ... i truly am touched ... hope this doesnt mean the end of such a great competitive rivalry ... man u - liverpool games dont seem to have that spark lately

Yeah i did watch the 1st leg which was actually televised live to Australia which was great, although after 5 mins i fell asleep as i could not watch such a terribly boring game. To be honest, i did watch the whole game and while i was happy crespo scored i didnt find the game all that entertaining. Admittedly, united were played off the park, but the match was lacking flair that the Chelsea vs Barca game showed.

Regarding Ronaldo, i think he hits more than 2-3 good crosses out of 10, but if that is bad Giggs is worse. Not many can match beckham, and ronaldo and beckham are two totally different players, ronaldo is direct and can play people in, beckham has outrageous passing/crossing skills. While i agree that Ronaldo needs to improve his crossing and decision making, there is no doubting he will get better and be one of the main threats for united for years to come.

i honestly dont know how you thought it was terrible.

giggs is am uch better crosser, even now. Giggs is miles past his best and should be replaced in the summer. still prefer him crossing a ball then ronaldo.

As long as its AFTER Armin's set...

Football is NOT about entertainment, its about WINNING.
If we have to counter-attack to win and its EFFECTIVE,
then by all means keep doing it: DONT FIX WHAT ISNT BROKEN

I'm sure ANY fan - be it of ManU, Barca, Real etc. - watched
his team win the Champions League and domestic championship
within one yr, you wouldnt complain. In fact, u'd LOVE that they win.

Let alone Milan, who's succes is UNPARALLELED since the 80s.
Thank GOD they counter-attack, cause we win trophies.
If u win trophies, the fans ALWAYS love and support you,
regardless of your style

+1, just look at what happened to Dortmund - after winning the title they were high flying in Bundesliga, no titles for a couple of years and they're in the gutter, you can't just a buy a title for one year (unless you have abrahimovic), each team should build up to success - like Porto

Yes Rooney is overated by the English press, and as a United fan I don't like this as its putting too much pressure on him. He is however an amazing talent and does so much more than scoring goals, a proper team player.
Ronaldo is not overated though, and deserves any hype he gets. He is pure class and has amazing potential.
