what's that?

I concur, the Dreamland remixes have all been tosh, wish someone decent like Flutlicht gave it a shot, coz they, if they still were producing, would have done something interesting at least.

Those are some of the only good ones from what I've heard. The Agnelli and Nelson mix of Don't Give Up, the one mix of In Silence (forget the name), the Signum Signal mix of Second Wave, NU-NRG mix of Believe, Cosmic Gate mix of Age of Love.

the nu nrg mix of believe is old, i think another one came out with it though

myself & n0bben have been bitching about this for well over a year now and still nothings happening. There's no originality in trance now and those who try still don't offer much (Whiteroom etc)

I've had it for a few years now but noticed the vinyl a few days ago on *************. Not too fond of the new mix.

Just for the record the melody from Solarcoaster is a straight rip off - I'll find the sample and post it here...

edit: click here - Track 7: Marwood Walks

Hmmm interesting, I definitely remember a John 00 Fleming Mix being discussed several years back and I was sure it had been released, but I see there's no official releases of it on Discogs. However, it did appear on several compilations back then such as MOS - The Annual 2002.

The Lange and Dumonde mixes of Dumonde vs Lange - Memory 2005 are pretty pimpin' although it still has nothing on the original version of the track.

Dumonde mix has a shitty buildup though near the climax.

Randy Katana - In Silence

when was the original released? i only knew of the txitarro remix...

didn't gabriel & dresden do a remix of three drives - carrerra 2 recently?

Whatta? As far as i know, there are no 2005 mixes of Memory but just some mislabeled mp3s/rerelease of the original set of mixes from 2002.

Katana - Silence was originally released in around 1999-2000, can't really remember. And G&D's Turbo Mix of Carrera 2 came out right when the other mixes did, in 2003.

The Carrera mix is 2 years old I believe.

The original In Silence is ages old, 99' or earlier. I have a wicked bootleg called Katana vs Blue Amazon - Silent Rain Falls and that's what got me into the track

That must be why they're actualy half decent then but although I havn't heard the original in ages, I thought the mixes were different.

The Megara vs DJ Lee one sucked balls though.

Posted by Omega_Blue on Apr-26-2005 07:39:

so does the original "in silence" have a massive buildup like in the txitarro remix?

Yes it does have a great buildup and the whole track is much better than any of the 2004 updates IMO. For me the original mixes of Silence (no 'In' in the track title back then), especially Signum Remix, are soo good. Except for Gary D Remix which is totally p00r. LOL
