the statistics are subjective though, real madrids main squad has been in place for many years, and they've added to it slowly each season.
it may well have have been twice what jack walker spent, but that was at a time when you could pick up world class players for less than �10 million
twice as much as arsenals squad? again built up over the years, and wenger is reknowned for buying cheap players and making them great
and �32 million less than united, again over a period when ridiculous sums of money weren't paid for players.
and I believe United spent �3 million more on players during the last close season than chelsea
so again, no score, fuckface

At the moment Chelea have no repect from me. I cant believe Kenyon said that Chelsea havent bought the league, but its down to the progression of players such as Lampard, Cole, Terry etc. To be fair, these players have progressed, but without world class stars around them, a world class manager and coaching team, all of whom chelsea have bought, the players wouldnt be as good as they are.

Do chelsea now abolish their youth system, as they can just buy players every year? OK, Terry has come through that system, but younger players have now got no chance at Chelsea.

I think theyll eventually get respect when they can make profit year after year. And thats a long way off yet.
