best drop of the night

don't quote me on this be I only own live sets so its hard to for me to tell what track was the best but If i'm right its when preach spun Valentino Kanzyani - Teaching To Undo It (Consumer Recreation). It was absolutely amazing the place blew up around me

Posted by cbass on Mar-30-2005 03:28:

don't worry about it

mcb001982 sorry we left early dude [QUOTE]

dude it not your fault. we all agreed

Now the more I think about it was probably the whole preach set

Track of the night : Anything preach spinned
The guy layed the smackdown on our asses, sick set, maybe the sickest he ever played, cant id the tracks, but i recognize some tracks he played on "nuit blanche" radio program.Best set of the whole event for me,left at 8:30,couldnt stay for deep dish nor marco g,too tired, there was way too much freakin people in the trance room during tiesto's set,and the heat, god damn.

Sadly i must say this was the worst of the three beb's i went, its my third year in a row, i mean im used to aria when its packed, its annoying, but this one,i dont know,it got the better of me,couldnt stand it. I think maybe its because this year people were unusually rude,i got seriously body checked during the whole night, not even a glare or a sign to say sorry. So sadly i missed most of Tiesto's set so cant really comment on him, stayed in the house room, way more comfortable even though im not a house addict, it was still good, nice job from Morales.I wanted to stay in the trance room after preach's set,but i got like in the middle of a sort of "guet apen" or some kind of trap vick's/tigerbalm rubbing gay tribal ritual ,i was surrounded, got scared,so i got the hell out of there,it was 360degrees of gay horniness, more then i can bare.Didnt want to be the main course, they were live converging on me,im no one's beeyotch!!!So when i came back, pfff no way in hell i could have found a good spot to move comfortably.

Ladies, sizzling hot as always, average bra size in the place was easily "D".

Highlight of the night: -Preach for sure, you've done it again, people now realize how insane you are. You better be there at Swirl,i really have high expectations for this one.

Yes, exactly....
other than that, VIP was just a big big big joke....bathrooms, section, lineup, drinks stands (they didnt have water for like i dunno how long.....)

my highlight tho: Ppl shoutin and screamin the famous: Tiiiiiessssstoooooo when Preach was playin (btw, great set)...lmao...that was fun...

Came from Kingston and stayed in my brother's dorm at Mcgill. Did not get into until about 1, so I missed most of Preach's set, but the ending was great.

Tiesto was really good. He redeemed himself in my eyes for the lackluster performance of his that I witnessed at Godskitchen Global Gathering over the summer.

I got pretty tired/burnt out, so I sat in the hall and chilled for most of Deep Dish. He did pretty well for himself.

Benny B was disappointing

Thumbs down for too many guys with shirts off. I could only smell pot and body odor in the trance room.

Thumbs down for long bathroom maze.

Thumbs down for taking my glowsticks on the way in

Thumbs up for hotties in white lingerie

For us they didn't even bother to look what's inside our wallet or gums ... and for the glow sticks we had over 30 and they didn't say anything ... easier to get the candy also ... anyways the searching part was pretty quick as if they didn't feel like doing their job

Hey everyone...sorry for the late post, but after I got back to NY I was too tired to share my experience!

What an amazing weekend! I never thought it would happen, as I did not have tickets until saturday. (BY the way I want to give MUCH THANKS to the TA's who helped me out with that, you guys made my weekend!!) If you want to read about my weekend go to the TOTA section under Kandaio/chris allen experience...I am only hear to write about Beb!

Unfortunately I was unable to to go the meetup becuase the friends I was with had to come early to purchase tickets...I was a bit upset because I am new on this forum and would have loved the opportunity! I did get the chance to meet Funkenlouis, as he got a ticket for me....what a sweetheart and cutie! thanks Loius I also saw Malek from afar but he was unreachable from where I was in the PACKED crowd, so I did not get the chance to meet him.

Anyways, when we got there, I got in the line for those who had tickets, and my friends went in the other line to purchase, and I lost them for 2 hours!!! I was kinda pissed because I had the choice to either dance on my own or look around forever...HOwever, I was impressed with the speed of the lines, as I was past the security within 10 minutes

WHen I finally found my friends, Preach was about half way through, and I must say, as someone who has never heard him spin, I was going nuts!! What a great set!!! (Within five minutes of being back home, I had told my New York friends all about him!) Preach you tore up the place and it makes me want to come visit Montreal again!

I was there for tiesto, and although he started a bit slow considering how Preach left off, I danced my ass off once he started to pick it up! I found it ironic that I had told Alex before the show that the one track I wanted to hear was "Skin- Faithfulness"...WOWWWWW!!! I was JUMPING up and down the second I heard the opening beats...no, not dancing...JUMPING!! What a song!! I was pretty impressed with tiesto and was filled with energy at the end (considering he played Adagio and Universal Nation, it is not surprising!)

During Tiesto I noticed how many people were CRACKED OUT! It was my first time in a while not popping any pills, so you notice these things when you red-bull it all night. I had a gorgeous girl in front of me being rubbed down by about 6 men, and suddenly she started orgasming and her eyes rolled in the back of her head! Whoo she must have been having some fun!! LOL

Afterwords, my friends and I had danced to about an hour of Benny, got a bit bored, and went outside to get ready for Deep Dish. However, we were shocked to hear our ears ringing off the hook, and although my energy could have taken me till at least 10 am, my friends ears were hurting tooo badly to continue on! Soo sad we had to leave, but ya gotta keep with your friends!

Pro's:
the girls (Yes I am a girl, and no I am not a lesbian, but they were hot as hell in their outfits....although I must say some girls need to either start eating or stop smoking crack, cuz the average weight there was like 90 lbs) I did get a GORGEOUS man come up to me and comment on how beautiful my curves were and thanked me for looking beautiful and non-anorexic!! LMAO
The trance room (Preach and Tiesto!!)
The organization
Skin: Faithfulness

Cons:
The men: Between not knowing who was gay, all their sweaty naked bodies, and all the groping and commenting on my breasts, the women did more for me that night than the men!
The house room (S-K-E-T-C-H-Y!)
Benny B (my first time, kinda dissapointing, althought I didn't think he was as bad as some of you thought)
Too many people at tiesto
Rude pushing people (Damn I thought I was back in NYC...I expect more from Canucks )
The music being too loud (Dammit, the loudness made me miss Deep Dish!!)

Thanks Montreal, you showed me an amazing time and helped out a stranger. I will certainly be back next year!!

Posted by DJ_Misho on Mar-30-2005 05:44:

Ok here we go
I had alot to say but after reading the last 7 pages, everybody pretty much said everything i needed to say.
Got there at around 10:30 with the usual crew..Kane,Wisnia, Deluca etc.
Line-up was somehow quick so was coat-check. But what really suprised me was the searching point..I mean i heard last year's was somehow like JFK Airport..but the way the guy searched me was too funny..he didnt bother checking my cig pack nor my pockets, not even my socks..so that was a relief
Wondered around for about 15 minutes as I was very eager to check out the place coz its my first time at BeB. Then we quickly joined the crowd and vibe and started enjoying Preach's set. All i can say is
He definately deserves to be in the top 50, lots and lots of talent.
Then tiesto comes on. His set was very good, i didnt mind the first slow hour, as i always like sets to build up so i really enjoyed it.
Then Benny B comes on..I really dont know what to say, i dont want to be harsh on the guy nor be nice, in my opinion i think he shouldnt have came to BeB..definately not the right place for him. At a point i went to the vip and i watched him mix for a while. It takes this guy nearly 5 minutes to beat match the song and at times he fucks it up .
Than at about 6:30, i notcied i lost everybody..i started going back and forth looking for everybody to realise that i was going in circles
At around 8 i gave up, couldnt find anybody and my legs were killing from all the walking so i decided to go home even though i wanted to stay for deep dish. Got home at around 9 and went to sleep directly. Woke up at around 5 to realise that i had around 7 people in my living room..so next time ill make sure to close the front door.

In a way i was expecting alot from Beb, but somehow they didnt deliver. Sound quality wasnt too promising and the freakin bathrooms were like 20 miles away and when u finally get there, the security guy tells u that its closed so u had to walk another 20 miles to get to the other one

Highlight of the night : Monica's outfit

P.S.
It was me that you saw in the bathroom jestaraver

That guy was me don't ask me why i did it but i felt so relaxed by doing so ... didn't know anyone would notice but i guess am wrong

Nice to meet you man ! It was very funny to "play" with you.
When I do that @Aria, I'm really often alone ! Just one time Ferry Corsten answered me. Tiesto made a smile when he saw me last sunday.

What was the other sign you did ? I'm sure I know it.

Perhaps you saw the guy who had an id-t t-shirt ! haha too funny !

Encore Bravo Preach !! Tous mes amis qui taient l on ador ton set ! Tellement percutent, conhrent...waouh man !! C'tait du beau travail ! En plus t'as tellement d'nergie quand tu mixes, c'est fou comme ca excitait les gens.

I'm really excited to see the pictures...BTW I wear the Cameroun soccer jersey...white,red,yellow and green...

So two questions that I have yet to get answered.... Where can I get a BeB t-shirt? or can I still? Cuz i wanted to buy one but ran out of $$ at the concert

Also, wondering if possible to get the promo mix CD of preach's that was being handed out at BeB??

Thanks in advance!

Yuriy

Yea, I am also looking for the shirt and the cd, but I am having no luck so far... any leads would be cool.

Relic Mix Compilation CD mixed by Preach will be in major stores in Canada April 1st 2005: HMV & Archambault and of course some of the record stores like Terminal

The track of the night is without a doubt 8th Wonder. I'm pretty sure it was Preach who dropped it but I may be wrong. It fucking DESTROYED the dance floor.

Posted by Myk on Mar-30-2005 18:04:

Ok so here's my (late) review,

it's already been a few days since the event and all in all was good times, was there for pretty much the whole night and like a lot of u still have my ears ringing a little....

As for Dj's, ..., well yeah Preach did an amazing job opening, got us all jumping at the begining of the night witch was cool, (also got the cd which is mint!! and thanx Malek for getting it signed for me).
Tiesto was pretty good as well, played the usual, great crowd entertainer. But i must say, (even though i was practically finished by that time), Deep Dish ended the night amazingly, loved their set.

To be honest though, i think last years set up was better, was able to get from one room to another way easier (although this could have been the result of too many peaple as well). thought also the middle section took too much space, and should have opened up the whole trance section. As for the bathrooms, ..., i wont even get started.

Great party either way

MyK

Posted by Kane13 on Mar-30-2005 18:33:

Two things... did Tiesto play Blank & Jones - Perfect Silence (E-Craigs 212 mix) or am i just making up my own memories of the nite?

And also if Preach or someone else that knows the this track could ID it for me... it has electronic vocals going "this is my heart.... this is my soul..." .. Preach played it.. this one im sure of
