Do you seriously think that they carry it with them?

DJs most often get their drugs from promoters or fans who offer it to them. They dont carry it with them around the globe.

My very first gig at system, I had a guy come up to me when I was putting away a record, grab my hand, and put an E in it. He said "you better get used to people giving you drugs."

DJs are part of the party. Just like everyone else, they want to have a good time too. Who cares how they do that if they still do their job? Personally I get too paranoid of forgetting what I'm doing to play when I'm fucked up.

COKAINE

I heard several people joking about Acosta's nose problem after a set he played at a location I would rather not disclose here ( was not in Toronto ). When he noticed that people noticed, he said his allergies were acting up.
Also remember the off the hook track in 2001 called "Cocaine" by Dj Wag. That track was very energetic too. I think that one was written while on coke, as was lots of songs in the 70s ( a bunch of songs I was going around singing and having no clue what they were about ( ex. "Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds" about Crystal ).
Drugs will always be part of the music scene, but when it comes to trance DJ's; I've never heard of anyone overdosing, and dying yet ( which is alot better than several other genres of music ).

DJ's and Drugs

Someone at a club in the U.S told me that she sold stuff to an international DJ at a club after he was asking around for it. This was a few years ago. I really doubt anyone famous would risk their career transporting drugs across the border.

Even the dumbass U.S president done coke

He must also be the hippocracy king.

I thought it was about lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD).

Maybe all of the above

The 70s song "Oh That Smell" by Leonard Skinnard" was about Coke. I didn't know that until I went to a party in Windsor in a house with cheesy 70s decor ( incl bright red carpeting ) where a bunch of coke heads were listening to 70s songs and singing them ( they all seemed to have something to do with coke ), and taking lines from a huge pile in the middle of the table.

All you need to do is see "Castles in the sky" and his latest German Flyer's to know PVD has done enough drugs to test Ozzy Osbourne and Bob Barker Combined!

Jo Momma does the cocaine.

Guaran-fucking-teed.

I'd say that most probably do coke or some other type of drug. With those crazy touring schedules, do you think they could perform with it?

Honestly, I don't really see that much of a problem... drugs are so intergrated with most of society now anyhow..

I heard a story about Donald Glaude snorting a line of a record while it was spinning once, lol.

As for the question that asked if I would still listen to them with the knowledge that they do drugs, well..

My favourite local is probably on of the biggest speed junkies in T.O., and I still listen to him spin, all the time.

Is it really an secret?? I love the guy and his music, wasn't trying to criticize. If a mod asks me to delete, I will.

It shouldn't take a mod to ask u to delete.... its common sense.

Its 1 thing to name an international act (and with some exceptions, people have been good about not naming anyone, even tho some are notorious), but to name a local act? poor taste.

Ok, two people in a few minutes is all that I need. Didn't mean to offend anyone, apologies to anyone that I did. Was merely trying to make a point, perhaps in the wrong way.
