That's fucking pathetic. Come on Markus, show some balls and don't worry about closed-minded fans crying about it.

you fucking losers. Remember the Aphrodite set from 2002 or does your attention span not go back that far? The 'global' DJ broadcast should cover whatever style the guests want to play, not just the plodding annoying shit that they feel like. it's hardly representation of the music scene if they take anything they don't like. Pathetic. I Just feel sorry for Tilt who put the effort of mixing more than just the usual boring shit in for getting shot down like it.

How utterly pathetic. Censoring sets in order to streamline the music for the "prog"/Schulz massive shows how little balls there is to try something else for once.

Posted by Psy-T on Apr-29-2005 23:07:

did the tilt boys even know about this?

fucking disgusting and disrespectful... just gross

C'mon now, if you're going to play the elitist card then at least make sure your music is one worthy of such an exclusive attitude. "Progressive" isn't forward-thinking, it's formulaic. And as much as you guys have raped the word, anything can be called "progressive". Hell, taking a shit is more "progressive" than half the trash coming out nowadays. Here's an idea, asshats: try doing something really progressive for once and allow more diversity to infiltrate your overall sound; it'll help the scene, unlike what you're doing here.

Attention new musicians: if your material does not fit Markus' narrowly-defined definition of "music," then do not bother sending him your material.

Posted by Kelderman on May-02-2005 22:01:

Tilt did not play Tremendo - Bang.
I guess it was the Lee Cabrera mix of the Audio Bullys' track.

Stop your crying. For the DI.fm trance channel, the Tilt set was edited. For the other stations GDJB was aired on, the Tilt set was broadcast in its entirity.

What other stations is GDJB aired on?

Posted by flavdave on May-03-2005 05:30:

On one hand, I can see the logic behind editing the Tilt set if someone is just tuning in to the DI trance channel hoping to hear trance but they hear drum n bass instead. But is that such a huge deal? I doubt DI would get a slew of angry emails complaining about that.

I was just turned off by the whole thing for a few reasons. For one, Tilt is one of my favorite groups of producers/DJs. And two, from reading some of the posts in the tracklisting threads for shows like GDJB and ASOT, listeners are easily disturbed when something "different" is played by Armin, Markus, or one of their guests. I know Markus has had a wide variety of guests on the show in the past playing tracks from a variety of different genres, so I can't say he is against branching out. But when there are a countless number of aspiring DJs filling their playlists with ASOT and GDJB favorites it makes me wonder if those amateur DJs are afraid to take chances on certain tracks because of the anticipation that those tracks won't be well-received.

Any updates on the ids in the tracklisting?

Posted by Hassassin on May-05-2005 19:28:

you kno... a trance forum is the LAST place i had ever thought this kind of stupid arguing would be going on...
usually i associate people who listen to trance, w/open-minded people... give other music a chance

i had never heard any kind of electronic music like tilt's set before, but i caught the end of it & i enjoyed what i heard. i kno i kno, forums are a place for babies & whiners to vent their pent up childish anger, but still... calm down. all you hafta do if you dont want to listen, is DONT TUNE IN! if you like it, listen to it!

if only it were that simple

Posted by placebo on May-10-2005 13:11:

Where can we get the un-edited version of tilt's set then?

Posted by matty on May-12-2005 03:10:

So whats this about Tilts set being shortened? The last time they were on GDJB they rocked it....i need to get my hands on this one, the full one that is
