-- ASOT 2005 vs ISOS4
Pages (5): « 1 2 3 [4] 5 »
I've tried to stay away from both big names for long, but then i got the opportunity to listen to ISOS4 cd1 and i must say i'm totally stunned. The track selection is just mind blowing. I'm so sick and tired of hearing all these boring and plain ordinary tracks from Armin and the likes, and ISOS gives excellent variation. If ASOT 2005 is anything like last year, my expectations are really low.
In Search of Sunrise 4 is more like In Search of Talent 4.
I havn't heard all of ASOT but it's better than Tiesto's latest boring trash.
To be honest, ISOS4 sounds like The Best of ASOT. They're all well-known tracks played on ASOT in 2004, except one or two maybe. The track selection couldn't be any more obvious.

| Originally posted by n0bben yeah, i asked if junkies remix of "UR" was played on ASOT. you started blabbering about that you "downloaded ISOS just to rip that tune" (you've said that already). and, frankly, i dont give a rats ass if you did. we all know you're a leecher already. |
. Wise words spoken from someone who knows absolutely nothing about me and my purchasing habbits.
Taste isn't a matter of argumentation. Some like plain old trance, and some like proggier stuff, like ISOS4 in this case.

I bought my ASOT 2005 cd some weeks ago, my hopes were really high. cause I know armin has done some amazing stuff. but CMON, hes one of the best djs in the world, and he give us this kind of Boring music, it is just so dissapointing. Im going to give it a listen soon, better be better than last time.
I hope ISOS4 is gonna rock, honestly tiesto's cds has been good. just be, some of the tracks on the athlete cd on, well this is his new stuff.
I got like a cd from solar stone and ben lost, lost language exibition 3 I think. that must be one of the better cd's out there.

Alright.. ISOS4 although I've never been a fan of Tiesto (for the last couple of years).
Why ?
ISOS4 imho contains a number of very original and I'd call it "unraped" tracks. Sure ISOS4 aint full of goldies either but still original in times like these. Anyway, the mixing on this CD is rather embarassing. But that doesnt really come as a surprise.
Looking at the ASOT 2005 tracklist it's the same shit as over and over and over again.
Why would I buy a MIX CD with tracks which have been played over and over again by every amatuer DJ around the world ?
Besides after all those (I think it began in 2002 or so) years I'm really fed up with those fluffy wanna-be progessive & trance productions.
So my vote def. goes to ISOS4.
Paul's TPOD 2 better be good

on friday night...
I got a chance to listen to ISOS4 the other day, mixing is well, lacking, but I totally like the tracks way more than ASOT 2005. So my vote still goes to ISOS4.
