Whether or not this actually happened, is up for grabs.

When I saw James Zabiela last week, he played on The End's usual setup and supplied his own EFX500 and cables. The setup was bad for JZ, as the two CDJ-1000s were about five feet apart... unfortunate.

When he played at Aria they didn't even have a pair of cdj-1000s...one was an 800...

metallica sells out every show they play.

100 hot meals is nothing if i was in charge of throwing the event.

Posted by Max Thomson on May-08-2005 21:18:

From JZ's bio:

"Layering different sounds with the aid of two Pioneer CDJ1000s, a Pioneer DJM600 and a pair of trusty Technics 1210s, his hands and ears don't let up for a second, leaving any punters feet a-moving and mouth a-gap. And his demands for such kit wherever he spins is a reminder that he's one of the scant few DJs who's pushing things forward in 03."

I got a huge backyard, pool, hot bitches, and plenty of Bolivian marching powder, Sasha, I can fill your demands, no prob. Come over. PM for address

never seen that much merchandise at his shows. a few shirts here and there, but no huge set up.

please somebody post oakey's rider, i wanna laugh!

I'm sorry, but those demands are just waaaaaaaay too much for any one promoter too handle. *tsk, tsk*

I read the rider and they have a crew of 85 people so yeah 100 hot meals aint a lot

But in regards to Sasha or any band/dj as a matter of fact
It's IMPORTANT that they have equipment riders if they dont then promoters will give them the lowest of the low.

If you don't set rules then dont be surprised if you get crap.

If you were a dj with a certain reputation you would want to be able to perform at the best of your ability and not be distracted by missing or faulty items.

Posted by NuDarkBeat on May-09-2005 21:16:

seriously why are people bashing sasha for having exactly what he needs to play his set the way he wants to play it. thats if like you had certain things you needed to do your job correctly but were denied it
