A seriously great effort Psy-T. I have cranked this set up in the car for a while now. I actually forgot that it was your set for a while, until I whacked it on the computer & was reminded that it was you who master minded this epic lengthed twisted brain fried mix.

I came on here to say cheers & pay respect for a truely excellent set. I am amazed at the selection of acid you have *jealous**!!11 Your vinyl collection will be enough to make me cry.

I am also impressed by your own tracks productions such as Funkiness & Perpetuus that are mixed seemlessly against the likes of Alex Bau, X-Dream & even the ole Art Of Trance. This goes to prove you to be a professional Acid producer that people should watch out for in the future; I see great things to come from this guy.

such a great effort, such a massive set that is brilliantly mixed .

Thanks for sharing mate.

1986 was a good year indeed

Its so so rare of me to download sets by anyone but "big name" DJs now, as I'm just more interested in hearing a few new tunes and seeing if I like them than seeing what my fellow amateurs are up to, but having read all this topic I can't fucking wait for my download of part 1 finished. Just the amount of fucking effort you've obviously put into this means I just have to get a listen!

My taste is wide and recently I'm getting more and more into Psy, but I only dip into acid every now and again, this set will hopefully increase my liking even further.

RESPECT mate. Review to come when I've actually listened to it haha!

Check the tracklist and you'd see that he put a lot of his tracks (which quite a few are mint) in the sets.

I can't imagine listening for 7 hours straight, let alone actually mixing! Good job with it, I'm not too far in but its definitely setting a good tone for the rest of my day

all those huge names... rob acid, ART OF TRANCE!!!!, ELECTRIC U!!!, etc, etc. you have a massive collection of psy and acid, thats pretty cool... i've been trying to find where those awesome squelches come from... i am a huge fan of art of trance and i haven't yet heard easter island so i guess im in for a surprise....

oh uh... did you get the name "down the rabbit hole" from "what the bleep do we know?" if not see it, honestly as strange as it sounds, it's the best documentary you'll ever see. it is amazing....
anw looking forward to hearing this set....

Posted by canadian didjer on Oct-19-2005 19:38:

wooooowwww listening to part one... amazing, this is so well done.... you can barely tell where one thing ends and another begins... feels like one massive 200 minute track. oh bythe way... just getting over the 20 minute mark... holy crap... well done.

my cousin bought acid attack (came out in '96) i really didn't like it, then i got into psy and found lots of the stuff was made with the 303, squelches and basslines and stuff... i started looking for acid trance... this stuff is pretty neat... this would be good driving (that's a compliment).
