not that i would know of... www.tastyfresh.com is like a Christian TA... so maybe they would be the people to ask. They have some interesting topics I've never seen before.. like DJ led worship... If anyone here has every been to something like that, mind posting a review? I've been to band-led worship churchs by friend's invitations, but I thought it was very boring, and it was an odd site to see... there was this one girl that kept saying Amen every 2 seconds and going up infront of the church making a scene.

I was reading some of the posts and they said that supposedly it's a DJ playing trance and techno but a 3rd CD deck has sermon peices mixed in, or maybe a live preacher over the music... and then there were ones of some crap ones of DJs mixing in lame Christian pop music into their trance sets... (now those I will make sure not to go!) Man I can't stand the Christian pop radio for 2 seconds... it's some rediculously crap music and most to all of them have the same lyrics... "Let every tribe and toungue confess his name" it's a heapload of crap if you ask me.

Just the whole idea of seperating the rave culture to Christianize kind of works me up... raves and EDM were meant to bring people together not to seperate them based on religious beliefs. You have to at least give it to Digital Aura and Adambomb for posting here... That would be something unlikely for any Christian guy to do ("mingle with the outsiders omg god's gonna fire me [literally]") and Christian labels should be concerned more about quality overso if their artists are Jesus followers or not ("oh but that's being a sellout.. we're supposed to be sold out for jesus").. get a life.. seriously.. and that's why Christians are by far the most uninteresting people to be around with (there are a few exceptions though, as with everything) but it's about time you guys start thinking for yourselves. They make all these blind decisions, claiming it was a revelation or some sort of divine inspiration. Like my friend who moved to Venezuela because God told him to, he moved there right before Chavez got in there and now he's screwed... and wished he woulda stayed. I'm not doubting that there could be divine inspirations, but Christians keep claiming to get them all the time. As if God always speaks to you whenever you're in the toilet with your newspaper.

I've never been to a DJ worship event so I couldn't tell you. I think it would be a fun event to go to though if it was planned well and had quality music playing.

Most of the christian radio stations and churches I know of won't even play any kind of dance/electronic music. We get hardly any support from anyone (and I'm NOT speaking of just songs like the one I posted here. I mean top quality, well produced, songs by famous people like Shiloh or Andy Hunter). Then we come to a forum like this and get bashed even more... don't be surprised when others don't "mingle with the outsiders"...

Nullistic - Not that I'm aware of. I don't know of any major christian trance labels. There may be some major trance labels who are owned by people with christian beliefs...

I've lived around "christian" people my whole life. There are a lot of "christians" who are !$^*(@# that I can barely tolerate. I have many non-christian friends who I would rather hang out with than some other "christian" people I know. I see exactly what you are all talking about. I know that "christians" can be some of the worst people in the world.

But there are also a lot of great chrisitan friends that I have who's characters are stronger than anyone else I know... I look up to them and admire who they are. It's this stupid labeling that people do... trying to tag a bunch of people and saying they are all the same... everyone is different and to ignore people's individualism is idiotic...

If you really want to know what the record label's beliefs are and the reasons behind what they do, why don't you go talk to them istead of stabing them in the back?

I can't believe the whole discussion has turned to this... All I wanted to know is how to improve my production quality so I can make better songs for people...

yes, PLEASE, let this thread die. Why don't you meliorate your time by helping the other producers on the forum. I doubt they are here to read this junk

thanks for watching my back Dark Sword

Well, I wasn't going to reply again, but; I sympathise with you as far as getting a little bashed here and there, and you took mine's and everyone elses comments pretty healthily; but everytime you post, you're adding more flame to the fire.

The fact that you actually have the audacity... to seperate your religion with "outsiders" is just... not right. Why is everyone else considered an "outsider" to you?

I'm glad you have much respect for your religion, but that's taking it a little too far. We are all human beings here.

//edit: well it seems you changed your post around a bit. i hope you DO realize how you say things can greatly offend people sometimes. well, good luck in future posts dude. hopefully you will improve as a producer and I wish you the best man

I have no clue why you say that I consider everyone else an outsider... I don't.

Actually it's not really audacity or anything offensive... With any group, there are insiders and outsiders... Same with people who like trance... there's a group of them... the outsiders don't know/don't like trance.

Outsider doesn't mean Outcast... you took it like if he said outcast.

RELIABILITY? wtf...

w/e, this is my last post too, enough time wasted... i could have spent my time better getting drunk and high and being unreliable and immoral like all other non-christians.

I said "more of a chance." Some christians get drunk and high too even though it's a bad representation. I was just trying to find an answer for you because you asked. I really don't know.

Stop poting this shit track! It hasnt been picked up by a label because they wouldnt allow people to download it for free if there going to try make money off it! Good way of tryin to get people to look at your track though.

Posted by gerrycueto on Jul-19-2005 18:59:

Sometimes labels picked up freeshared tracks... like Carl B - All Day... or Cosmicman - I Love You... Outfly - Marche De La Lune...PPK - Resurrection...if the label thinks it's really good, they will invest their money into it.

Woot lol, another artist who signed something on Deepsink recordings.

My first release got signed by them for the cd Osmotic wave.

Very nice record label, bit small but very warm.

I can remember this track, we listened to it when we were choosing the songs for osmotic pressure. It will be a nice cd, i promise.

Don't forget to say hello to wim for me.
