x a thousand
i know the lyrics are: what do you love

but when i hear this song, i hear: do you love her

is it just me?

*sigh* reminds me of who i lost

I don't know the lyrics, but they're defintely loaded with emotion.

Don't know who you lost, but I'm sorry.

Other sad songs include the scores for Braveheart and Gladiator.

Also - The Crow Soundtrack...Can't Rain All The Time.

Max Graham feat. Jessica Jacob - Gone

I know you're gone
I know you're leaving me
behind your dreams
behind your prayers
What do you think?
What do you want?
What do you love?

Behind your dreams
What do you love? (repeated)

I hear your sighs
I hear your heartbeat
Pound me on my back
I'm on my own now
What do I see?
What do I feel?
What do I love?

What do I love?

I know you're gone
I know you're leaving me
behind your dreams
behind your prayers
What do you think?
What do you want?
What do you love?

Behind your dreams
What do you love? (repeated)

and i'm learning to live my life again, DA...trying to smile through this

*likes even his sad music to be electronica...

Petter - These Days
Herrmann & Kleine - Leaving You Behind (Without Knowing Where to Go)
Meta.83 - End Titles
Erlend Oye - There is a Light That Never Goes Out (and that crazy minimal glitch version Maetrik spins of this remake as well)
Ulrich Schnauss - A Strangely Isolated Place
Sasha - Mr. Tiddles

well, not quite 'sad' as you put it, but melacholic, rather.

Speaking of scores, check out the score to Gettysburg. Namely the one that plays at the end during Pickett's Charge, I think it's called "Reunion and Finale." Unbelievably emotional stuff. I had it on my mp3 player last summer as I was riding on a horse down Seminary Ridge in Gettysburg, PA. Cried like a little baby.

I may be from Boston, but my heart is in Dixie.
