Twilo summer of 2000
First time seeing PVD. I get on the line at midnight. It was wraped around two corners. By the time I get to the front of the line its 5:30 am. There was only about 15 of us straglers left. The bounce says your not getting in guys go home. WE STAY. The group ahead of me heads to a goa trance party. A couple of minutes later a bouncer lets the rest of us in. I step into the main dance floor. Everything is dark. The only light was being shot towards the bleechers (Red / white twirling spiral)Pvd drops "Drive boy dog boy Dirty numb angel boy In the doorway boy She was a lipstick boy She was a beautiful boy And tears boy ...

I was with other ppl who didnt really appreciate the tunes too much, so I walked out reluctantly thru the corridor, still seeing ppl making their way in around 5:30am, ran into my sister who had JUST gotten in after waiting FOREVER...then later that day she told me the party lasted for a few hrs more later. I wasnt so hardcore at that time ahh.

this may have been around 2000 cuz a few months prior to this, thats about when my friend from London came back to visit and gave me my first edm cd Tranceport by Paul Oakenfold a classic by his standards then i learned of PVD, and went out to buy my first 2 cd edm set Out There and Back i just feel blessed that i got to WITNESS the great one at his beloved Twilo at least once.

lol this may have been lame..but its the only story ive got. and i <3 it.

PVD LINES I LOVE'EM - you meet the best people on that line. especially if the ones around you are willing to wait like you are. i waited 11pm to 3am and finally got in. the 4 hours comprised of a bottle of strawberry flavored vodka? and 2 blunts just around the bridge area. ahhh twilo the days we all fell in love...

The original Sound Factory was in the Twilo space.

Sound Factory Bar was somewhere else entirely - the same space where Cheetah was I believe.
