Would be nice if there was either an answer message telling you to call back at the appropriate times or times on the flyer.

Anyway, online ticketing is the way forward!

Seriously guys.. chill out..

This is a big night that we want to ensure people know about.. the title of the thread clearly states its nature so if you're not interested, don't read the pissing thread.. easy as that!!

I could go through most threads that have no interest to me and abuse them but whats the point!!!>?? Live and let live..

As for the ticket line, there is a message that states the ticket office hours...

Rumour has it that the set times are as follows:

8 - 10 - marc west
10 - 11.30 - john o'callaghan
11.30 - 1 - John Askew
1 - 4 - pvd
4 - 6 - andy baggley

Can you confirm this please?

if you've seen one shit trance dj you've seen them all. no need for two back to back twice in one night.

this should help

The lineup I put on pvdplanet was straight from Askew so it was probably undecided on who was playing first/last rather than back to back - not that that makes much difference.

just got back... i was a little bit disappointed but still had fun, he played alot slower than i'm used to hearing from him and didn't knock out many surprises, but nothing awful (apart from some beautiful things/skydive remixes which i didn't rate)

askew was pretty solid, but would have preferred him later on where he could have bashed it out a bit more. gets top marks for starting his set with SVD's 'AKA' though which is getting to be one of my favourite tunes of the year

was knackered & very hot come 4am though, so couldn't stay for andy. swear the aircon wasn't working properly in there

what aircon? lol! they dont have aircon. Many years ago they installed this insanely big industrial fan about the entrance to the bar thats linked to the dance floor (white room it used to be called), which used to blast cold air across alot of the dance floor, which was an amazing idea - only for it to be took away. I asked the promoter at the time why, and he said "the heat adds to the atmosphere of the night" ...

Id love to go clubbing once and actually be cool, not sweating my tits off and sticking to my clothes with my face as red as a tomato.

Posted by Cru54d3r on Sep-04-2005 16:27:

once at zero they switched the aircon on full blast and it was literally freezing haha .. a club that was too cold .. how rare

^Agreed

if you are hot, you will buy more drinks

J0C was really shit. His set had no flow and structure, his mixing was poor, and his playlist was rancid. Another case of a DJ undeservedly gotten to where he has via productions.

John Askew was pretty decent. Especially the second half of his set when he started bordering on techno. Does anyone know what the track was after John Askew - Fuck Private Ryan (We're Dancing) ?

PvD was also quite decent. There were a few really good sections in his set, but he also kept bringing it down with some really really shit trance like beautiful things, linking people, nby etc. But in a place like Passion I suppose he has to please the rave gimps. His set's do look to have shown some major improvements recently, and now having seen it first hand I am convinced he does still 'have it' when he can be arsed. Definitely quite a random set in the end but one I enjoyed nonetheless.

Bagguley started with Voco Me which was quality. It was wishful thinking that he might actually go on to keep up the pace to which he had set himself, but alas, no; he proceeded it immediately with shit fanny trance. I soon left.

And yea it was definitely too hot. I hardly see how sweaty fat men without tops on brushing past me adds to the atmosphere but each to their own. Plus the crowd we're rank, rude and annoying. It was good to see some of you again though, it's been a while. A good night.

O'Callaghan was appalling, he didn't appear to know any of the tunes he was playing as each transition was incredibly disjointed.

Askew was quality, playing some decent tech goodness and it was a bonus to hear Shaker live.

PvD for the most part was banging, easily the best set I've witnessed first hand from him this year. Thankfully his set wasn't completely made up of fluffy anjuna/armada wank like it has been recently. Unfortunately he still sticks to the pattern of finishing on a trio of his worse productions.

Stuck around to see if Bagguley could impress, his first track being the flim flam mix of voco me was decent. But unfortunately some vocal armin wannabe gash followed and I set about doing one home. I should really have stayed a little longer, at least then I wouldn't have murdered a squirrel on the return journey.

On another note, that MC prick should be shot. MC's have no place in this type of music. If I was Passion management I'd tell him to fuck off to a club playing Jungle or Happy Hardcore or something. What effects my blood pressure the most was the fact that this twat was speaking all over the breakdowns of some fairly thumping tracks.

Anyway, enough of the ranting! I had a decent night all in all, even though the majority of the crowd was completely lifeless.
