Usefull feedback on TA????

This place is a sandbox where mean, petty, closed minded little children can fight with each other without any reprocussions.

My music is better than yours...My label is better than yours...my dj is better than yours...

Opinions are like assholes. every one has one...and the majority of them are here on TA.

I havent heard this track, but I will give it a chance I do with every track. I dont understand why the rest of that shit has to come up. Somatic has done everything it can, JUST LIKE EVERY OTHER LABEL, to stay afloat in this era of MP3s. So what if some of the stuff they put out is not great. the majority of their releases are well produced and sound good. Joof has put out a few good tracks and a few shit ones as well. it makes no difference.

THE QUESTION WAS::::HOW DO YOU LIKE THIS TRACK????

Fucking Babies..

I just came back to check on this thread after posting initially last week. Its a real shame that this thread has turned into nothing but shit. Yeah, this is real useful feedback.

The thread is titled "DJ Precision vs Terry Bones - Another Situation." Basically 7 pages of people flaming each other and BS drama about this and that crap. This is absolutely pointless and it does nothing for Terry or Pascal.

Whether you like it or not, this track will be released! Its always easy to voice an opinion when you can't do any better. I can care less whether you like it or anyone likes it. This is a forum and you are free to voice your opinion but keep on the subject and try to be a little constructive if you can. Like the above post asks, "THE QUESTION WAS::::HOW DO YOU LIKE THIS TRACK????" Plain and simple.

jup and i answered that, but some fools cant take that opinion it seems and have to make a drama out of it. In that case i make dramas too, plain and simple.

ian^ for the love of christ just quit posting on ta no one likes you man

Posted by dj_alucard on Aug-18-2005 18:41:

ian you come off sounding square here

as far as i know somatic has paid george for all his pressings he made

which i, oddly enuff, did not see one dollar of

in fact i havent even heard from george in half a year to tell me what is going on...with pressings or money, in fact pascal has kept in contact with me thru the whole thing, explaining how he paid for em( and i dont even know if he received the vinyl, because i have yet to see the blue on blue vinyl with espens remix on it)

now ask yourself, who seems more professional

somatic = paying for the TPs
george = running off with the money

and by the way if you ever see george, ask the jumper what he is doing, because running away to a corner and avoiding everybody really does not help his case, also i hate him, and finally your antenna is in my crotch, also nathan doesnt liek him either, also grow up

Ian, You rock! And to be honest with you, Somatic Sense is a bad label, has never released a decent tune, we release average trance to kill the scene and yes I believe every single word you say. Especially that Terry Bones friend thing.

Keep those lines coming.

You rock!

kinda ironic that your original post in this thread started with "if ian was a grown up..." when you go on to replace it with something as childish as that

Right

Myself & pascal have just had a long chat & resolved some issues. Therefore i've deleted all (i think i got them all) of my derogatory replies, and urge people to at least give the track a try before you judge it & not to do so on what you've read here from arguments. Sadly I find ta going this way a lot more, with a fair amount of people who're either not clued up or think they are wrongly.

Whoever you are, go into things like this with an open mind now. Maybe you don't like the track, if not, say why, give the guys a chance to see where they went wrong if you think they did, but also this goes for those who defend things they like. People can dislike a tune without it being a personal attack on you. deal with it like pascal & me have just done.

thanks terry

that'll be the end of it now on my part, and if any haters (they know who they are) want to carry on, PM me, don't make it hurt people like terry who's put a lot into his music.

After hearing this track in a club 2 times, I can say this is a major energetic trancer with a amazing drive! and you probably can hear some Katana kinda sounds (I hear it too) but thats not so weird, Precision worked with Katana for a few years right they probably influenced eachother in some way. Don't get me wrong I'm a prog and JOOF styled and other dark influenced styles lover too! and I know what some guys mean that it isnt the best "trance" (on way they think trance should sound)..no it isn't hypnotic or deep and stuff. Thats not the style music they label as "trance" these days (or atleast most of the productions). Thats already going for quite some time thats nothing new, but that doesnt mean this isn't a very well produced track that has the elements of indeed the nowadays "trance".
This track is a very good production and I'm not a fan of Somatic Sense but this is just a bomb!

btw. Is the Mark Norman remix already in is final state of producing? so that it is possibel that Norman is spinning this one atm..?

Posted by precision on Aug-19-2005 19:21:

Mark Norman mix will be finished due the middle of September.

Have a nice weekend!

Hope I can hear it on a big PA someday, very energetic stuff.

Posted by Frase on Aug-20-2005 02:15:

its bollocks threads like these & how everyone is so over analytical of the music today is why the scene gets into the shit tip it is.

If peoples negative comments were actually constructive as opposed to jus straight outright slagging it off it would make this place a whole lot more enjoyable to be around.

and why is it also the ones who dont like the trance music that say for example armin spins, always go out of their way to make people know that their tastes aint the same as theirs? I mean are they THAT insecure about their preferred genre/taste in music?

that was hardly the issue here tho... it started with ian's comments towards somatic, not the track. some posts have been deleted so its hard to follow

It was a close call, but we just managed to pull up before hitting his head with that joke

As for the track, I can see where UWM gets the mimicing In Silence, the massive buildup, and then uninteresting break that just steadily builds down as soon as it 'peaks'.

It's not the melody or anything, moreso the structure.

Average tune for me, instantly forgettable.
