Max Graham doesn't even return my phone calls any more.

Now Luke Fair, on the other hand...

aha in order to respond to this topic fairly, Sezzy, Charlee & I last night experimented with a couple of different genres by attending various nights around Melbourne...

First stop: Alumbra (handbag house)
Next stop: Bass Station - old skool night (shit hard trance)
Moved on to: Superpitcher @ Honkeytonks (extra minimal tek & electro)
Then ended the night: Tuned @ Tunnel (electo house downstairs and harder trance classics upstairs)
Back at home: Tek tunes

Conclusion:
* Alumbra - Liz was in pain there, sorry babe! I must be used to it I'm not allowed to go back
* Bass Station - not too scary besides the school uniform dress-code but no real 'old skool' being played?
* Superpitcher - extra minimal, ok for short time but couldn't keep interest up
* Tuned - venue is awesome, it was school uniform night here too! Music got us dancing, hearing some old anthems was brilliant!
* Tek owns... sezzy likes the tribal tek & dj Preach

bleh. If you're gonna go Canadian house, you gotta go with the quality stuff.

Addy, Deko-ze, Sean Miller, Kenny Glasgow. Luke Fair has the most boring sets I've ever heard, but some of the sweetest productions are in his name.

Posted by charlee on Sep-03-2005 00:21:

Yes we had quite a night of exploring! I split from the main group and headed to Arthurs where I was treated to the sounds of Sean Quinn & Andi Red. Really great night!

Yeah Bass just didnt float my boat.....music was all over the shop. I knew they needed Jules Reynolds.
