Please.

Airbase can not hold a candle to ferry corsten.

Have you even heard ferrys stuff from 99 - 2002? It takes a shit all over airbases work.

Lol, no.

Exhale
Carte Blanche
Indigo
Out of the Blue

well, hell, almost all the tracks on Out of the Blue and his Looking Forward album are better than Airbase imo. And most of Right of Way tracks.

We shouldnt compare Airbase with Ferry Corsten. Both have thier own well respected spots in my opinion.

Posted by RebeL9 on Sep-21-2005 04:56:

this is hilarious. how funny isn't there to see true worshippers that does anything to defend their idols. they even go as far as saying Ferry pales in comparison with Airbase lol.

Anyway I admit that I've been a bit too harsch on Airbase.
He is not really that worthless. And he can produce if he wants to. I just happen to not like his overused master blaster supersaw productions. And he got releases on two well respected labels (Platipus and J00F).
Credits to him for this.
But one should not forget that Airbase used to say that MIKE was a shitty producer and he couldnt recall not a single good production from him. Most people in the trance buisness wouldn't agree on that one.

to the guy which said "if you don't like it then go and produce something better":
This is propably the dumbest argument I've seen on this forum.
So when a movie reviewer gives a new movie a really shitty grade do you ever see the director telling him to do it better himself?
Which fantasy world do you live in?

that review of The Gift - Love Angel on t.nu, has yet to be forgotten.. and he had Plastic Boy - Live Another Life on his top 10 charts for weeks..

that being said, i think he is a great composer and producer.. and he should be respected for what he has achieved productionwise..

you are being bashed because you use are talking stuff like "Absolute dog shit. I wish he'd fuck off"

I you just took the time to actually think and make a normal sentence to express your thoughts, maybey you could have not ruined this thread into some pages of bullshit.

Yawn.

No I didnt.
I posted on my website. And no I didnt say I quit producing.
Get your story straight and stop assuming things.

Now if it's one producer here in TA that has so many fans and so many haters it must be Jezper .

As for the tunes,i STILL love his first version of The Rock (Airbase - Theme From The Rock),as well as his remix of Michael Splint ft Sasja - Secrets (Broke My Heart) [perhaps THE best remix/mix of Jezper,it surpasses even his remix of Iio - Smooth] and of Nebulus - Destination Sunshine. Also Airbase Presents Moon - Come To Me is loooooovely.

That being said i really don't like the new techy stuff of Jezper, generally i'm not a fan of the tech trance so i'd like to hear some more uplifting tunes from him

Edit:Oh and don't forget the GREAT First & Andre - Widescreen

Congrats on generalizing his numerous productions/remixes and not bothering to listen to them all.

Alright, that's what i thought.

Didn't see any threads by Airbase saying "i'm going to stop producing"

I just remember he wrote on his website he wanted to take a break from the 'usual' trance, and try to produce in different styles.
What he did, under the Parc guise, + some other remixes.

+1 Ferry's stuff back in 99-02 was awesome - Can't find many bad tunes and sets

Solar Stone - Solarcoaster (Airbase Remix)

Best remix of the track by far.

A totally normal reaction, as you would do if J00F get bashed just cause people dont like his music.

And about Airbase, i do remember reading here early this year that he was quitting trance but dont remember if he wrote it or not. Anyway, i think is good if he comes back to produce trance with new ideas.
