| Originally posted by Blake The head of security @ Crobar held a meeting about 20 minutes before opening explaining to his security staff that they had changed things last minute because there were already 2,000 or so tickets that had been pre-sold. Because of the shortage of remaining tickets, they decided not to allow for those kinds of special provisions. Guess they wanted to use the opportunity to rake in as much $$ as they could. In anycase, the night was amazing. Oooh man, just overwhelming. I don't even have the words. It was great seeing a lot of you and meeting a couple of you there. This was my first time @ Crobar and it was unforgettable. Myself and Andre1129 being the first two people in line, got to watch a lot of the madness unfold from the beginning as the crowd poured in and well, I have to ask, what was with the old people there(60+ yrs)? Were they undercover cops? Rich old guys looking to pick up young women? Or just old people who happened to be into trance? Also, what was that mix of 'Who is Watching' ? I thought Armin's set was on point. I don't know why it seems like he doesn't get the same kind of acclaim as the other elite DJ's. All in all things were fuckin' awsome. Can't wait 'till he comes back. Me or Andre will have pics up soon. |
. While I was there I was able to ID like 3/4 of the tracks but I am so burnt out right now I can only remember a few. Also, I really was hoping for Armin to play some "new" stuff like "Time Goes By", M.I.K.E " New Harvest club Mix", Gabriel & Dresden feat. Molly "Tracking Treasure Down" but he didn't. Im also surprised he didn't play Serenity. Maybe he played that shit out a long time ago lol and decided not to use it. Oh another comment, I was type upset he played the M.I.K.E DUB remix of Shivers instead of that new remix by "Dj Tatana".

2 other tracks he played
Ozgur Can- Connected
Scott Mac & Drax- Must Have Been A Dream (Mac Zimms Remix) (dammit, mac cut the great vocals outta this choon!)
Good things:
Remy.
Armin.
Tunes.
Ppl I met.
Bad things:
Being sick.
Bouncer taking my aspirin, dropping it on the ground, Some n00b stomping on it and grinding it into the ground like it was on fire. WTF!? (i understand tho)
Fucking e-tard girls grinding their crotches all over me and pushing everywhere (maybe if i was a little more drunk/not sick i would've enjoyed that bit more ;P )
The damn loud C02 cannons. But it was bearable.
pics and videos in a min

He dropped some track at around 4:30-5:00 that's a remix of a vocal Top 40/Pop type song. Anyone know what it is?

Last night=
Long lines, no room to move, awesome people, awesome DJ's, lots of laughs, lots of smiles, awesome place, I HAD THE TIME OF MY LIFE!!!!!! and armin played dogzilla-without you, one of my favorite songs!!!! Armin ROCKED IT and Remy was kick-ass too!
I DID NOT WANT THE NIGHT TO END!
I wanted to stay until the very end and see if we could meet armin, but we ended up leaving around 4:30 a.m.
I wish I could relive it all over again, I hated to come back home today.
Didn't get much for pics. as far as anything that came out clear but I'll see what I can get!
Got to hang with vern and a few others! Great to meet you in person!
I definitely want to do this again! I can't even explain it! WOO!
