2005.12.31. New Years Eve @ System Soundbar, Open Bar

As you all have heard System Soundbar is closing. Come support the club on New Years Eve, its open bar, and Danny Howells is spinning a 7hr set. For all you true ravers out their, and party people, this club has given a lot to the community, hosting many of the best events. I hope to see you all their. For those going to see Marco V, u can pick up flyers on the way out, they are the small pretty looking folding white ones.

For some reason it shows their is guestlist, their is no guestlist for NYE events.

Sorry Alex, since I couldn't post in the upcoming events or the roll call to respond I'm doing it here.... yes on NYE we are having an open bar, doors will open at 9:00 and from 9:00pm till 2:00am all domestic beer and bar rail, ie.. vodka, rum, rye, gin, scotch etc.... all mixed shooters and coolers will be included in the price of admission. Danny is playing from 10:00 pm till 5:00 am then he is getting on a jet to montreal.

Imagine what's going to happen after 2:00 AM, after numerous free shots of vodka people will start popping pills, thus mixing alcohol with shit and endangering their lives. We need to change our laws and set the last call for alcohol at least for 5:00 AM.
As for the Mr. Howells, I will see him at 8 in the morning in Montreal. Hopefully, he won't be too tired after a 7-hour set at System.

We have 5 yanks coming for this with the possibility of a taggeralong or two. At this point, I just want to get there, dance ass off all night, and get to see the TOTAs and spend quality time with Keith.

I expect
1/ the bar to stay open well past 2am
2/ the bar to be so rammed all night that you can't get near it for more than a couple of drinks - which you'll end up buying all at once because you don't want to waste another 20-30 min lining up again.

Forgive me for not reading the entire thread - are there special tickets for those who want unlimited drinking? or is it one ticket price and it's open bar for everyone?

i don't believe there are different tickets, other than the 'all inclusive' ones they're selling. my guess is that people that didn't buy advance tickets (they are 85 now i heard!!!) will be turned off by the door price, which will be more?? yikes. so in the end it wont be as out of control as we are thinking it will be.

but thats just what i'm hoping... trying to stay positive here

i don't think there's different kinds of tickets...it's open bar for everyone who walks in the door...as far as long waits at the bar i don't think it will be too bad...if it was open bar til midnight or somthing like that it would be a zoo but i'm sure with all 6 bars in operation in the club,with extra staff, and the bartenders not having to make change things should be ok.....

plus, with these all you can drink thingys if you give the bartender i nice big tip your first time up to the bar they usually take good care of you the rest of the night...
