I'm not surprised more producers don't show themselves and I'm not surprised DD has had enough. Love him or hate him he's still a person and he still produces good music, regardless of whether you personally, actually like it.

This place is full of such nasty people, it leaves a disgusting taste in your mouth just reading it sometimes. I'm sure many people here feel the same way and just haven't said it, this is one of the reasons I've been registered since March 2004 and only made 5 posts.

There are many people on here who are so self-important, arrogant, and vitriolic it's a wonder this place hasn't driven off more people. Being a regular on a number of fora (forums), mostly sport related, I have to say this has the highest proportion of arseholes I've seen since I came online in 1997.

Kudos to all the decent people here, they, and others, know who the good ones are.

Wonder if/when swamper or a mod will respond to this...

I think there really is an issue here... maybe some more policies need to put into place on TA. I dunno...

there is NOTHING wrong here. All people should adhere to any rule regardless of what it is, Dave made the first personal attack & Has to accept responsiblity for anything that happens because of it. i think people are allowed to critisize his work. but when the critism is something like: "Dave, you suck, josh is better, fuck you!!!11" then you can go straight to hell

we have a top notch producer/dj on these boards, and some retards decided it would be awesome to break his spirit down so much, that he would leave.

well, retards, i hope your happy. i personally felt more priveliged when dave dresden first registered and he would make a thread about his new song or whatever and most people would be: "wow dave i really enjoy it, keep up the good work".

i dont see why we cant go back to those old times, and dave, if you ever read this, im sad to see you go and i thought BLOOM was excellent if you come to vancouver soon, consider me there!

benno de Goeij came here not too long ago and we had an AWESOME discussion thread with him. am i a big Rank 1 fan? no not at all, but we all treated him with respect because he came here and was a great guy.

zabiela comes on here occassionally and he's always super happy and a nice guy. do i like his music in this case? of course!...but that doesn't change that he's just cool and fun to get involved with the site.

Noel Sanger, Max Graham, tons more...they come here and they are all awesome. they are all great people and even if you don't like their music you can respect them.


when dresden first came here, we loved having him on...it was awesome...but over time he proved to be an arrogant jerk...so just like any other member of the site...if you're a jerk...people aren't going to like you...

exactly mate, there's loads more good ones including plastic angel, terry bones & many more, however those like dave (And santiago nino & others) then yeah we're going to have a go at them because we don't have to take their bullshit, no matter how 'good' or 'famous' they may be.

dave, why do you always feel the need to attention seek? it's really pathetic. just fuckin leave already without creating a thread about yourself. you offered nothing to the community apart from promoting your own stuff and arguing with poeple that critisize your work. grow up mate!

In the End, it hurts him, and unfortunately hurts Josh as well. Josh chooses to work with him, that's his decision. He can do other works too, without DAve, and if anything, ppl are likely to recieve it better, because they believe that Dave is holding him back. It doesn't bother u, unless u let it.

If anything, assuming what you say is correct (that he's being a jerk), it hurts him and his career. It doesn't really affect you, or your reputation, or your wallet/career/lifestyle.

Again, refer to numbers 1 and 2, on the list above.

Regardless, TA is full of assholes... and our not helping at all :-)

you don't have a clue do you. You're another one who i've never seen anything but negativity from but hey, you've got to jump up & defend a producer haven't you. The only thing wrong with this site is the fact there's a ton of worthless wastes of space who just spam their shit. ta never used to be like that & if we could remove all those & the people who bring nothing but attitude from the start, we'd be fine.
