I met Gabriel & Dresden briefly in 2003 when they were first breaking out into the scene, when ATRC was blowing up in every club in the world. They spun @ Arc, closing for John Fleming, June 21, 2003, than later came to, at the time, Victor Dinaire's loft and spun. Nice, egoless guys... I think this so called "fame" went to atleast one of their heads.

Whatever, no loss in my opinion.

for those who don't know either dave or josh, they are both really cool guys. they are still really nice egoless guys. ask those who actually have hung around with them.

the shit that went down in the COR (aka, cesspool) was really stupid. i am sure a lot of exchanges were misinterepeted. I've also noticed many ppl that have said, i don't know what its about, but i thought it was funny anyway. good to see the winners in the COR really know how to jump on bandwagons

dave dresden has never been and never will be a "celebrity". that term is being tossed around here a little loosely. dave dresden just happens to have relative stature in the dance music world--our world. but ask 999 out of 1000 people on the street who dave dresden is and you will know what befuddled truly means. i doubt his ego stems from his recent success--he probably had one to begin with.

the *only* mistake i made was to post his IM name so of course, that's the only thing i've been blasted for pretty much. now, the entire issue blew up to a completely different topic- people just hating bc he's an arrogant, debasing prick on the boards who acts like a crybaby and insults people if they dont think his music is good. so i guess my original thread was just a trigger for some all out intarweb war.

on a side note, i can't believe how much it has blown up and it's obvious that dave's thread in the music discussion was not only a way of revenge (which is sad since he claims he could never stoop to such low levesl but i could really care less about this) but just more attention-seeking bc any publicity is good publicity, so he says.

Wow I have a new fondness for Dave... he's ok

Yeah your very right and Trancer-X challenged some idiots about this topic it didn't work because of assholes like Vtec Junkie saying "Only the strong survie on NYTA" . Who thE hell are you to say that. I can name other but I don't really want to do that right now.

The name chanoa sounds gender neutral IMO.

As for spitty, it sounds like a little boy's nickname who keeps on spitting every time he talks. So that's why I assumed you're a guy
