Guetta's was pretty good...he cleaned up at the House Music Awards this year. I didn't even know there WAS a House Music Awards.

I want a housie!

Id say Middleton or King Unique. Sasha and Dekay both deserve a nod as well.

a few highlights for me were Eric Prydz: Tracklist

Tiesto at Amnesia, Ibiza: Tracklist

and finally Desyn and G&D at the Miami WMC: Tracklist

Eric gave a great house set with some new stuff i never heard previously, some tight mixing, and some nice funky elements in it. Tiesto gave a really good Ibiza feel in his set, First State/Innocent Thoughts/The Loves We Lost were massive highlights and who can forget Desyn and Gabriel & Dresden, great prog set

The Tania Vulcano & Locodice EM was really really good, and that doesn't even appear to be on the list. How odd. But most, including all of that list, have been really shit. I seem to remember last years selection being shit too.

from the list, tom middleton got my enjoyable vote.

U missed Prydz EM . Angello & Ingrosso EM was shit.
I still haven't heard Middleton's.

i found sashas pretty zzzzz. Tom Middleton was classy, and digweed got my arse moving even tho i was in my fucking living room and not at gg which i usually am. i thought pendulums set was pretty shit and i am a big drum n bass hed. one of el hornets weaker sets. kraftys was solid, havent herd the locodice one but that was probably pretty good.

middleton or digweed for me.

Posted by Tayfoon on Dec-20-2005 23:26:

Eric's EM was pretty good

Guettas was the best I think, the Tiesto and King Unique were also good, and Desyn

DJ Hell's EM this Saturday was nuts..! But nothing beats Sasha's EM

Sasha's was one of the worst sets i've ever heard from him, and also one of the worst EM's i've ever heard. Absolute dog shit.

But omgz it was done in ableton man so it must be good!11

Good to see you've survived NYE as well.

Oh, and as I haven't heard a single EM last year, I wouldn't know which one was the best. Browsing through the tracklistings, I don't see one that appeals to me directly either.. Maybe Rennie Pilgrem's one. I'll have a listen at that one later on, maybe.
