if someone's DJing at ur age, u'd have more respect for them, than anything else.... some of our favourite DJs are about that age. Digwed is nearly 50, or over i think. TIesto is about 42-43 i think.

i guess in ur situation, i'd try to make it as obvious as possible that u enjoy the music... like dancing and shit while mixing. not to say that u aren't.

used to have a residency spinning top40's, r n b, and house at a club 2 years back. then i resigned and havent played out since. over the yrs i kinda lost touch. not having equipment to practice on doesnt help.
