Top Gear time again! Although, not oldd episodes on SBS but NEW NEW NEW episodes airing again, with season 8 starting as of tommorow morning (Although that's in the UK....awww). There's people here that watch new sopranos and what not, so obviously ppl are watching stuff off channel BT
If you liked what was shown on sbs - season 5, you'd have **LOVED** season 7, and if that's anything to go by, this season will be even better

THIS WEEK ON TOP GEAR!
"This week on shiny new Top Gear, Jeremy takes a drive in the Koenigsegg CCX, one of the most powerful production supercars on the planet.

They all get together to turn a classic people carrier into a truly magnificent convertible. And then complete a series of challenges designed to test the versatility of their new creation.

We also punish Richard for The 5 O'Clock Show, by making him drive a pink Nissan Micra convertible around the town where he does his shopping."

www.bbc.co.uk/topgear
they also have some clips from various stuff on there, including soccer with cars (they done ice hockey with cars in their winter olympics special too ), but they're in real format *rollseyes* so no idea how complete they are.
anywho, TOP GEAR FTW!!

edit: more preview @ http://www.topgear.com/content/tgonbbc2/

"Yes, it's true, Top Gear will be back on your telly Sunday night. We know, 'cos we watched them film the first programme of the new series this week.

And they've got a few surprises for you - the show has been refreshed, reinvented and reinvigorated. The problem is, if we spill too many of the beans they'll break all our legs. Really.

What we can reveal, though, is that there are new titles, a much slicker studio and a slightly bigger wardrobe budget for the boys. But not by much.

The bigger news is the new Reasonably Priced Car - the old Liana has been retired in favour of a new model and they've dreamt up a genius plan to avoid having to bin the old celeb leaderboard.

Along with the new studio (littered with some favourite TG cars from previous series), there's also a new member of the Top Gear team. Again, you'll have to wait until Sunday to find out who it is, but if you want a clue, think Blue Peter... "

Tonight, on top gear! Season 6, episode 2. [SBS]
# Jeremy drives a 1 million 1957 Maserati 250F Formula 1 car and a new 412,000 Maserati MC12 - will it be faster than a Ferrari Enzo around the Top Gear test track?
# In the news: new Honda FR-V, new Saab Estate, Hummer H3, new Mazda MX-5 aka Miata, Ferrari Superamerica, best driving song competition update, Jaguar XK in the studio
# Jeremy, Richard, and James compete in a new 1500 2-door sports coupe competition, but this time the car can't be a Porsche

(Note: I think sbs edit out the best driving song competition bit to save on time... aww)

This morning, BBC in da UK, Season 8 episode,,, errr7 ?

# This week on Top Gear we get some young chaps to leap around Liverpool, Jeremy, James and Richard build a car and there's a fascinating, and in-depth look at sporty people carriers. No, really.

# Peugeot vs. running and jumping blokes

The French are clearly all mad. When they aren't building cars that are alive with technology, or that have gear sticks where the indicator is supposed to be, they are inventing new forms of sport. The latest of which seems to be jumping off things, and generally doing stuff that anyone over the age of 28 would never dream of doing.

Of course, there are quite a few people under the age of 28 who would be too terrified to try their hands at parkour (the art of running through a city, and leaping over obstacles in the way). But we managed to find a couple of chaps who were prepared to jump off roofs in Liverpool.

But what was the purpose of all this tomfoolery? Testing a Peugeot 207, obviously.

# Lamborghini Gallardo.
# Ford SMAX, Mercedes B 200, Vauxhall Zafira VXR.
# Stig vs Richard, James and Jeremy

sounds good

Posted by Dj_Es-Dva on Jul-24-2006 08:13:

OMFG ! # Stig vs Richard, James and Jeremy ... im sooo jealous! dont tell who wins...

saw TG's review of the ariel atom on youtube, introduced to me by good ol toca 3. what an insane car! i didnt think the physics in the game were that realistic, but after watching the show the game has done a fine job! i now have a new car to be in love with
